  1. Thank you for this! Made my day.
  2. We did look pretty much like this for a long stretch of '21... except we didn't just lose close ones, we got crushed by the Titans and Colts. Until the second half of the Tampa Bay game. We were 7-6 after that game!
  3. 15 runs from under center Keep running even if stymied Throw some checkdowns to keep the D honest Stop having two receivers run into each other Run a decent screen pass Hit a deep ball!
  4. I would love that. Here in Germany 1pm = 7pm start. Whereas tonight I gotta set my alarm for the 2:15am gametime. Sometimes I wonder if football fanship is good for my health.
  5. Maybe they’re depressed because they don’t believe the coaches are putting them in spots to beat the best teams.
  6. Agreed. We need offense! What might open things up for Josh? Give the RBs 20-30 legit carries with a head of steam (not that shotgun sprint draw crap). Look how Singletary thrived yesterday for Houston. They gave him 30 carries. And for the Bills, if worst comes to worst, if you run twice and get stuffed... we have Josh Allen! The guy converts like 75% 3rd and 10 plays. Dorsey tends to run a play or a formation once or twice and whether it works or not, he abandons it. He always seems in a rush to get back to the shotgun spread. Make a balanced plan. Stick with it!
  7. Just win, baby. And run some dang plays from under center!
  8. BONEHEADED int by Burrow!
  9. Burrow sailed one in the clutch. Kinda unusual for him.
  10. Also doing a great job scheming throws against the flow of the play.
  11. Great Texans drive to answer! Stuck with the run, mixed shotgun and under center, heavy formations and spread. Smart offense is fun to watch!
  12. Awesome throw by Burrow to Chase
  13. Motor has run 17 times in the game. It's the 3rd quarter. When did we have a back with 20 carries in a game last? Argh.
  14. Stroud throws such a catchable ball, drops it in the bucket.
  15. Democo Ryans calls timeouts logically!
  16. Texans are the opposite of disjointed. Fun to watch.
  17. I'm enjoying watching other teams more than the Bills right now. So much less of a sense of dread and pressure.
  18. Bengals with a dirty hit on Tank Dell. Typical.
  19. Maybe these analytics stats are not all they're cracked up to be? (EPA etc.) I thought Dorsey's offense was clearly running aground since last year's Packer's game, and that the stats would show that.
  20. Exactly. As they say, the Jimmie's and Joe's. It's actually amazing how consistent our offensive stats and Josh's stats are over the last three years. There is one element that I think has a lot of responsibility: coaching not in the sense of play design and play calling, but in the sense of instilling confidence and leading the ship, etc. We never win in overtime and we drop a lot of close games. And it's not because Josh isn't clutch. He's usually cool as a cucumber when we need a drive. So I put that more on situational coaching and leadership.
  21. https://theathletic.com/5040500/2023/11/09/buffalo-bills-offense-defense-problems/ This was very surprising (to me at least). I guess I have selective memory of the high points of Daboll's time and not all the lulls and frustrations. However, the article does not really take into account the tailspin of the last five games or so on offense, where our points per game are way down and Josh looks less confident than normal. One other point about Daboll's time as OC: a lot of people here say 2021 was our year, we would have definitely one the Super Bowl if not for 13 seconds, etc., etc. Well, I remember the night before the Bills' first Super Bowl. We had just dropped 51 on the Raiders and 44 on the Dolphins in the playoffs. We were playing the Giants, who had somehow shocked the two-time defending champ 49ers in the NFC championship. We had beaten them in December already. I was so sure we were going to win I was already thinking about repeating next season. Also, remember which team that took out the Chiefs after 13 seconds: Burrow and the Bengals. I am not 100% sure we would have beaten them if we'd held on and beat the Chiefs. And then the Rams had a tough team as well. You never, never know. Ever.
  22. True. Sorry to nerd out on it. I always wondered about two words, that they say no one knows their origins for sure: Buffalo and Chowder Funny, right?
  23. I thought that theory was that it was from “beau fleuve” which means beautiful river. PS I’m gonna make loaded potato skins. Not sure if that’s native to Denver but feels like it could be. PPS I had a horse steak once too, in France. I didn’t think it was too bad, like a chewy steak. But I was a lot more adventurous at 25.
  24. When he takes the checkdowns until the safeties move up, he’s unstoppable.
