  1. Update: these numbers have already changed, for the worse. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2023/upshot/buffalo-bills-nfl-playoff-picture.html#& Our current overall chance of making playoffs: 15% If we lose to KC: 4% If we lose to KC and then win out: 46% Only two scenarios where our chance is above 50/50: Win out, including KC and four more: 97% Beat everyone except Dallas: 63%
  2. 1. With a sample size this small, like 30-40 coaches who have won a Lombardi, I don't think stats about tenure mean much. Hasn't been done until someone does it. 2. This team only loses in very tight games. Bills need someone who has that knack to play chess and be a move ahead. They could be a dynasty. Any coach who has a strategic head on his shoulders during games would be an improvement.
  3. Gotcha. Yeah, been a week... being a Bills fan... it's intense.
  4. This is awesome stuff, thanks. Based on this I'm gonna try to make it to KC a couple days early for the AFC championship

  6. This one went over my head..
  7. I've been watching on DAZN since October. Suddenly, as of today, it won't let me watch any of NFL Gamepass, it keeps saying "Some streams are not available while you are traveling." (I am not traveling.) Anyone else had this issue?
  8. Makes sense for Pegula to say this right now as there is still time to save the season, by beating the Chiefs. Not sticking up for McD would send the message that the Bills are giving up. And, the team we’ve seen the last two weeks is a playoff team. (Unlike what we saw against the Jets, Jags, Giants, Pats and Broncos.) Doesn’t mean he feels the same in January when reviewing the whole season.
  9. So many reasons. To me it’s on Dorsey and McD more than anyone else. You can’t chalk up the amount of penalties and unlikely plays teams have against us to just bad luck anymore. And it was tough to read this: “Since the start of last season, Allen has by far the most turnovers in the NFL at 35, according to Statmuse. Nobody else has more than 28.“
  10. Mainly this board… but he doesn’t always seem to listen.
  11. We can win any game if we blow them out or Allen has the ball last. There is no team in the NFL we can’t beat. But to win close ones we need someone who can call defensive plays better, use timeouts better, motivate the guys better and get them to focus better, than McD.
  12. Agreed. I think the Bills were implying that you shouldn’t need telepathy, the assignment is to read the leverage and select the corner route based on inside leverage. Just that Josh didn’t read it that way. Should not be hard to fix in practice, and that’s on Brady.
  13. Interesting. I felt, reading between the lines, that Josh, Brady and Gabe were implying it was Josh who made the wrong throw (the post instead of corner route) based on the inside leverage Gabe faced. (I don’t know enough to say myself, of course.) According to @HoofHearted as well, Gabe ran the play correctly and it was indeed on Josh.
  14. Head Coach Ryan Fitzpatrick Offensive Coordinator Jim Kelly Defensive Coordinator London Fletcher Special Teams Coordinator Mark Pike Offensive Line Coach Ruben Brown Wide Receiver Coach James Lofton Tight Ends Coach Lee Smith Quarter Back Coach Frank Reich Running Backs Coach Thurman Thomas Defensive Line Coach Bruce Smith Linebackers Coach Darryl Talley Safeties Coach Henry Jones Defensive Backs Coach Derrick Burroughs Strength Conditioning Eric Moulds
  15. I think there are too many option routes in our offense in general… too many plays go wrong because of a WR reading it differently than Allen
  16. I’m gonna miss this guy and his fire, when he doesn’t play for us anymore. Happy Birthday 14
  17. He also tends to be his sharpest when the team needs it—like connecting with Smith deep to spark comebacks the last two weeks.
  18. We have surprisingly few significant upsets, when I think about it. Basically Dallas in 2019. Beating KC at Arrowhead in 2021 and 2022.
  19. Generally teams with an MVP are 12-4 or better. The worst record I can find is Adrian Peterson’s in 2012 when the Vikings finished 10-6. He rushed for 2000 yards that season.
  20. NE game in December 2020 The one with Diggs 3 TDs
  21. Did we have two or even three timeouts in that situation?
  22. Tanking when you are .500 or above feels crazy…
