    Is it me or is there nothing like Berman and TJ summarizing a game in under two minutes? Nowadays we have talking heads and AI highlights that think a 15 yard pass in garbage time is an important play.

    We can now have Cooper, Shakir, Keon, Kincaid, and Cook or Davis running patterns in 11. That’s a pretty strong group.

    Damar reminds me of Mark Kelso with how he plays so deep and gets burned a little too much. Taylor Rapp’s helmet reminds me of Kelso too, but he plays like Leonard Smith.

    Looks like 21 personnel with Kincaid Knox Davis Coleman MVS If they use Morris he can line up as a full back and they have the option of motioning him to tight end.

    I think it's a brilliant point that play action puts Josh in a good tempo and rhythm. He's also a master of disguise and ball tricks and doing it comes so naturally to him. Conversely, when he's annoyed and feeling rushed, he does ball tricks like flipping the ball back on the field a split second after stepping out of bounds... He's a real teenager!

    Okay, if that was the point I disagree. But I do think we could use a few guys to step up into leadership roles, now that we lost a lot of those type of guys.

    If an independent doctor decides they need to hold Josh out for a game or two, I am fine with that. He's carried our team for five years straight. Other guys on the team would have to step up. And that might be good for the team once he gets back.

    Well the OP's original point about needing an OC looks more prescient now... Also I agree with the leadership issue--we could use a bit more burning desire to win beyond Josh. Terrell Bernard is a good candidate for our defensive leader. One more guy on offense would be great too.

    About getting players back: I'm not sure we missed Olivier that much, or Von. But we miss having good safeties and a good nickel corner, for sure. If we can struggle through these five games and get to 7-3 or 6-4 we will be in alright shape for our usual Dec/Jan run.

    Noah Gray would be the comp on the Chiefs. He makes 6 million a year. So it's not that egregious with Knox. But I agree that we don't need two highly paid TEs, so it will come down to a choice. If Kincaid develops (TE's usually take a few years to hit their prime) as we hope, Knox won't be here after next season.
