  1. Stupid challenge!! Clearly got the first down. Ugh.
  2. Man, Gruden knows the Bills top to bottom and seems to LOVE them. Never knew I liked this guy! Last week, Tom Brady, this week, Jon Gruden… what the heck.
  3. If you ever want to spend some money there's a bed and breakfast place off Elmwood, called InnBuffalo. Runs about 300/night, but it's in a really amazing old house, with a pool table and beer fridge in the basement. Looks like a private club in 1920 or something. Rooms are big with luxury details and flatscreens. And it comes with a fresh cooked breakfast, omelets, bacon, etc. And they have parking in back of their driveway. Haven't been since the pandemic but hopefully it's the same. I have nothing to do with them. But my wife and I used to stay there on trips back home, and she loved it. I brought my older uncle in from Tonawanda and we played pool and had some good beers. Good times.
  4. I prefer to beat the Chiefs in the regular season, so we can go in there in the playoffs confident. But there will be an element of neither team wanting to show the hand in the regular season game.
  5. I wouldn’t be so sure the Chiefs are going to keep this up. They’re lucky not to have dropped one. Their luck may change if we put a beat down on them and they lose a little confidence.
  6. Who is Thomas Morstead?
  7. With five minutes left in the half, the Bills needed to put their foot on the petrol. A quick spasm of Allen’s right arm sent the ball towards an open Keon Coleman, whose progress was ######ed by his lack of footspeed. Despite this, he broke an attempted tackle by a defensive cretin and sprinted to the end zone. Am I doing this right?
  8. Bills 42, Dolphins 6
  9. Which might be better for the playoffs. More ways to beat you now.
  10. IF Von makes important plays (sacks, forced fumbles, pressures) in the playoffs, especially against the Chiefs, and we win the Super Bowl, he will overtake Mario in my book.
  11. It's gotta be a lot to process, what he's going through. That he may not be able to do the thing he's best at, that he practiced all his life and became one of the best in the world at, for much longer.
  12. Rest In peace, John from Riverside. I really appreciate that you take the time to do this and update us, @SDS. I have been coming to this website for 20 years, posting only 4 but I feel it's become a real place for me, a real community. Thanks.
  13. I deep fried a Turkey twice and once cooked it over charcoal on a Weber kettle. That coal fired bird was so so good, best one I ever did until I baked a wild hunted turkey in the regular old oven. Nothing like standing in the driveway drinking a beer while snow falls into a deep frying turkey tho!
  14. Having friends who love to eat over to watch the game Man Miami has some great Peruvian and Cuban food, so I was thinking: Tu(n)a ceviche with tortilla chips Fried garlic shrimp Cuban style on sub rolls with garlic mayo Beans and rice with beef stew (ropa vieja) Lotta cold beer with lime and ice Mexican style (chelada)
  15. Me neither. But I’m trying to imagine… I guess being hammered probably contributed. Sad rifts can start in such bathetic ways.
  16. Yikes. Was that where THE beef started?
  17. He did play three and a half great seasons for us, and was very cool to kids which counts for a lot to me. Don’t forget he played great the first half of last season. Watch last year’s Miami game to see how great. Bummer for him but football is like that. He may mature a bit not being the invulnerable superstar.
  18. Can I do this but then bake in a regular over? PS thanks for posting
  19. Sushi for breakfast? 1pm is not too late With some Miso Soup Josh likes some sushi Try some Dolphin liver raw Just caught at Highmark
  20. We had it! I’m still pissed.
  21. He's becoming a dependable every-play weapon. It's amazing. What is also great is it won't be so easy to shut him down in the playoffs, when top defenses are holding every play. He is too big and plays too strong.
  22. It was much less common back in the nineties. We didn’t know how to get tickets as easily without the internet, but I did road trip to a couple games back then. Also the Super Bowl in 1994 at the Georgia Dome. Dammit.
