  1. Even though Oliver has been pushed around by O-lineman, don't you have to stick with such a high draft pick. He seemed to improve last year as the season moved along. The problem this year is there is no Phillips, with his 10 sacks, being a force in the middle.
  2. I may be wrong but doesn't he love it in Buffalo.
  3. Cole Beasley is not going anywhere. Josh loves him and he is the best clutch possession receiver in the AFC.
  4. And what it is sadly is a defenseless defense that was a top 5 a year ago. The additions have underperformed and the talent evaluation caused a reliance on Phillip's, oft-injured Milano and the combination of Murphy and Hughes, who are invisible this year. If people want drink kool-aid and think these facts will go away, I hope you're right.
  5. The immediate need is the front seven. Their getting pushed around and not tackling. The offense is good enough.
  6. Beane thinks winning the Bradyless AFC east is enough and is reluctant to give draft capital for anything worthwhile.
  7. Sean is not coaching well. You cannot allow rushing like that and allowing QBs to run for 1st downs on end of game drives. You want to chalk that up to personnel, fine. Beane misjudged the defensive talent and now we are suffering the consequences.
  8. He's never been great but any DC would struggle their defensive backs. A spent Norman and #47 ,who looked confused and was practicing Social distancing in coverage. A linebacking corp with AJ Klein and an injured and struggling Edmunds along with Dodson. The D-line gets no pressure and take silly penalties. What happened to Oliver and Hughes could be finished. Sean is responsible for the team not being prepared and Beane is the architect. Bottom line is there is little quality depth on defense. Frazier is not the problem. Did he get stupid since last year.?
  9. Beane and Sean should be well aware of the underperformance of the free agents and defensive draft choices. The problem is will they pull the trigger on a deal for a linebacker who can play the run and a cornerback who can defend big receivers. If they're willing to give a few draft choices, the teams that are rebuilding will give them some talent. Beane seems reluctant to trade draft capital. It's obvious we will have outscore teams in shootouts to win games. The scary thing is that Sean preaches discipline and the Bills had so many bad penalties.
  10. What an ugly, crushing injury to a great kid and a fine QB. My thoughts and prayers are with him for a complete recovery. The thought of JA running scares all Bill's fans. Wilson and Rogers seem to know just when to slide. Josh has more of a running back mentality. Hopefully he realizes his long term value and cuts his running down.
  11. This guy is a God in Houston. He is not going anywhere.
  12. The team is not perfect, but let's look at what happened after they stopped the Raiders from taking a lead, settling for a field goal to make it 17-16. Two great drives for TDs and a strip sack and Norman's strip and recovery. They tried to kill clock and gave up a back door score but made them take enough time to need an onside kick recovery, which is a very tall order with the rule changes. Far from farting away the last 7 minutes. Enjoy the ride.
  13. The simple answer is we need better depth at LB. They should contact the 0and4 teams and make an offer for their best outside LB. Maybe a 3rd might get it done.
  14. Why run when the guy throws darts and running is when bad things happen, fumbles and injury. Having said that, you can be sure Josh will still run when the game situation and opportunities present themselves. The offense is just so explosive with these receivers and Motor running the ball. Allen is seeing the field so well and moving in the pocket until crossing patterns open up. I am waiting to see how Bellicek defenses Allen. When we score 30 against NE, the NFL will take notice.
  15. Beautiful analysis. This guy is right there with the top QBs in the NFL. Have you noticed he doesn't run that much anymore, because he's putting a priority on taking care of the football.
  16. Multiple coaches should concentrate on keeping strict safety protocols for their own teams and prepare to play games until further notice. Every front line health care worker, cop, firefighter and grocery worker don't get weeks off. The American people, many unemployed, need this escape vehicle. Stop trying to make policy decisions and do your job.
  17. The Bills draft with Diggs, Moss and Davis was brilliant. Epenesa looks like a pass rusher if he can bulk up. Maybe a 2nd or 3rd year contribution.
  18. This guy is our Edelman and Welker rolled into one.He makes clutch catches and is fearless as a slot receiver going over the middle. Stay healthy Beasley, we need you.
  19. Lebatard is a tub of goo who must have pictures of Disney execs having relations with farm animals to have a show. The opinions of Bomani and Foxworth should have disclaimers that warn listeners, these men are unintelligible and have serious biases towards most white people. Anyone who takes this spectacle seriously should consider a therapist.
  20. Hyde is a team leader and an inspiration to young players. He routinely is one of the leaders in tackles and is part of a great tandem with Poyer. I know Bills fans want to dump players immediately after a bad performance but this guy has a lot of great football left and he deserves to have a role in where this team is headed.
  21. The question is who are they running against?.Vegas.., Miami A better question is what adjustments does Sean and Leslie make. It's obvious Oliver , Jefferson and Phillips are getting pushed around and the safeties are making tackles because running backs are getting to the 2nd level.. Star had a role on this team and his replacements haven't filled the void. Maybe Oliver and Phillips/Jefferson can start focusing on run stuffing along with Edmunds. All that said, teams better be able to score in the 30s to outscore our offense.
  22. Try not to lump last weeks performance with this weeks. Edmunds and Milano were injured and I'm not so sure Edmund's wasn't rushed back a week too soon. All those missed tackles could be shoulder related. The other problem was Sean and Leslie called off the dogs with pressure on Goff after 28 to 3. McVay took full advantage of the prevent defense with runs and crossing patterns for Woods, Kupp the tight end. Let's see the adjustments against Vegas.
  23. You make a valid point, but fundamentals is Sean's calling card. When the Biils shut down the run and hold teams under 17, they usually win and Sean and Leslie are credited. Not only didn't they tackle but Woods and Kupp looked wide open every drive after the interception. I'll bet Sean would tell you he got outcoached by McVay in the 2and half.
  24. The refs and more importantly, the replay refs, missed the interception, but that PI they called on the next to last play, we never get called. That could have easily been a no call. The defense thought they could play prevent, but they couldn't tackle or put pressure on Goff. Woods , Kupp and Higbie uncovered after Goff ate a sandwich back there, and they looked unstoppable. Thankfully, Josh put on his superman outfit and saved the game. Look for a heavy dose of Josh Jacob's and that great tight end next week.
  25. In his defense, Donald was unlockable in the 2and half.
