Kroft and Murphy inactive again!
Hampton Josh fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Time to bring a fresh Murphy back with Epenesa's concussion protocol. The guy is a good lineman, who must have ticked off Sean and Frazier, to be a healthy scratch so much. Nice depth. -
What to do in 2 meaningless (?) games
Hampton Josh fan replied to Artem Lipatov's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What they should and must do is keep the momentum going that has them on track for 2nd or 3rd seed. They will probably be without Williams and Epenesa, but they have depth at those positions. Maybe spotting Tre and Diggs with limited snaps if they still have discomfort. -
I Eat a small Portion of Knox Crow
Hampton Josh fan replied to Kwai San's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's like the little girl with the curl. He has so much ability in the passing game. He's big and fast and tough. However, he has to be cognizant of ball security and cut out drops. Overall, he's a positive because he has to be accounted for. -
The backs are doing fine. The last two weeks, when running was called for they run the ball down the opposition's throat. Moss will be a beast going forward. Remember, this team is an empty formation nightmare for defenses, because Josh can tuck it an run if you don't devote a spy and play off receivers.

Injuries - Diggs, White Hurt?
Hampton Josh fan replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they can go, they play. We need #2 or at worst 3 to avoid the Chiefs until AFC title game. -
Colin Cowherd Nick Wright Bet
Hampton Josh fan replied to Motorin''s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Colin's sudden love for the Bills and Allen, but these superlatives are knee jerk reactions to the Bills beating up on NFL powerhouses, Pittsburgh, Seattle and SF. The only problem is these teams are either overrated or decimated by injuries. I am a 45 year Bills diehard, so my objectivity is suspect, but I want to see the Bills win playoff games before anointing them with superlatives. Having said that, these Bills are different in several ways. The physicality they play with, which Tomlin marveled at, is stark. The talent level is up there at skill positions with the top teams. Finally, the defense, now with Milano , is playing the run better and getting turnovers. I'm cautiously optimistic, but when we dominate in the playoffs there will be opportunities to bang our chest. Nick Wright is using our history of being a fake team the last 25 years to throw cold water on the great year Josh and the boys are putting together. Let's let this season play out. When we beat one of the AFC big boys in January , things will start getting very real. -
Preferred playoff matchups
Hampton Josh fan replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess until someone beats Mahomes in a big spot, they have to be considered the toughest matchup. Their speed at receiver along with Kelce are tough to game plan for, not to mention Edwards-Helaire is a ball control weapon as he showed in Buffalo. With Mahomes and co. they're never out of games. If you're Buffalo, make it a last possession wins type of game and win the turnover battle. Be sure, after watching Josh and the boys the last 2 weeks, (without Smoke no less), every team knows what a challenge we can be. -
Preferred playoff matchups
Hampton Josh fan replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with your assessment on Cleveland's offense. They will however struggle with defending Josh's multidimensional offense. The reason I think KC would be a better matchup is that we would score a lot of points against that defense. Maybe they win a shootout but Henry is a bigger problem because he single handedly controls time of possession and we are not built to defend that type of attack. -
Preferred playoff matchups
Hampton Josh fan replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The worst matchup is Tenn and it's not close. They run the ball with Henry and AJ Brown is a tough cover for our dbs. Their defense is stout and Vrabel and his staff are solid. The Colts are also a tough matchup. Their O-line is the best in the business and they have good backs and receivers . Their defense is really good and Reich is a top playcaller. In the end I think we beat Indy but I am not as confident about Tenn. I think they represent a bigger challenge than KC. -
All these receivers are guys he trusts. Even when Knox drops balls, he has to be involved in the offense because his speed and rac ability, make him dangerous on off schedule Allen scrambles and screens. His pass interference at the goal line play was big. Please don't complain about Davis. The guy is going to be elite and he is a big athletic receiver that can high point balls when Diggs and Beasley are double teamed. This receiving corps is a big part of Josh's development to top 5 QB status.

That kick was good and is impossible to judge from under the goal posts. Why can't the NFL make these kicks that are way above the posts reviewable.? Any objective observer cannot unequivocally say that kick was not good. Sadly the best view of these kicks are by the tv viewers.

Dawson Knox needs to go....now.
Hampton Josh fan replied to Kwai San's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Knox is a physically gifted tight end who has problems with drops and fumbles. He can stretch the field and run after the catch and break tackles, but can he make enough plays to overcome a big drop or a devastating turnover? I think an upgrade is needed in the off season. We are too talented on offense not to give Josh at least one quality, pass catching tight end. -
Could John Brown be Released Next Off-Season?
Hampton Josh fan replied to Halloween Land's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sometimes you stand pat with superior skill players that just fit perfectly with the scheme that supports the talent of a physical freak that trusts all of his options. Your point about Davis being the big high point , red zone threat that we've been desperate for, is a good one. If we can run block for Motor and Moss, setting up Josh to just stand in and pick out wide open crossers, this can be as prolific an offense as any in the NFL. -
Could John Brown be Released Next Off-Season?
Hampton Josh fan replied to Halloween Land's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree with that and he's a team guy that never complains about getting more throws and always has positive body language He's a keeper if he can stay on the field. -

Smoke is a great receiver for the vertical pass game and has good chemistry with JA. With him on the field with Diggs, that's a lethal tandem. He played through a tough high ankle sprain until he couldn't go any longer. This makes a case for keeping him going forward. Why dump this talented receiver after he put Josh on the map in 2019 along with Beasley and that confidence laid the groundwork for the offense we're seeing now. -
Can Lee Smith just go already?
Hampton Josh fan replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lee is another O-lineman with a tight ends #. He blocks like hell and that's why he's been in the. league forever, and he's not a healthy scratch like Kroft. That 4th down miss on the first drive was the only bad throw Josh had all game. -
Feliciano Rocking the Baby (Beasley)
Hampton Josh fan replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Feliciano sets the tone for our O-line. He's a quality guard with a nasty edge that have the Bills playing with physicality and giving JA the time to shred good defenses. -

Nick Wright is a gasbag who tries hard to be controversial and JA blowing up he predictably is being arbitrary. Skip is wrong on everyone and he sees things out of the lens of a bitterly disappointed Dallas fan. Both men should be taken seriously by any objective observers. -
Against the Chargers, he had several big runs and saved the game when Motor fumbled and let LA back in the game. All things considered, he should be given enough touches to keep him developing. He also blocks better than Motor. .

I like TJ and he should see the field more but don't give up on Moss. That was his first fumble and running out of the end zone sometimes is a rookie not focusing on ball security. The guy is good and his performance this season has shown he is the inside running complement to Motor.
