I'm sorry, I responded incorrectly to your post. It was supposed to be directed to someone who said the Ravens blowing the 1st playoff game 2 years in a row and their still considered a great team.

The thread was what would make the season a success? What does the perception of the Ravens after they lost as the top seed have to do with us. Losing for this team will not be acceptable after this regular season.

Naturally with a high 1st rd choice like Tua, you can't admit to whiffing by using the 3rd pick to get a QB. The problem is the guy has warts. He looks a lot like the dreaded game manager ,who doesn't throw vertically because he's afraid of turnovers. He also doesn't move well in the pocket and is not a run threat. The worst knock on him is if he's behind, he's not bringing the team back with dunk and dunk throws. I would get a 2and and 4th and move on.

No, the Bills must win two home field playoff games minimum to be a successful season. If not they will be considered postseason chokers and underachievers. When you dominate like they have the last month and a half, they must win playoff games.

Phillips had one good year,got paid and became invisible. Beane knew he wasn't worth the fortune it required. The Jefferson/Butler and Addison replacements were more than adequate. Shaq was hurt the last few weeks but he produced to help them have a turnaround. He wanted a huge contract and Beane felt he could live without him. I can't disagree. The Bills can beat anyone if they play like they have since the "hail Mary" game. This is uncharted waters for us. Until we see the defense stop quality offenses in a playoff scenario, we can't be sure about a long run. There is greater confidence in this scary offense that teams seem dumbfounded by and is putting up prolific yardage and scoring numbers. I like the matchup vs Indy. Rivers looks less mobile and if we can play tough run defense w/ Milano now healthy, it will be tough for them. If Pitt beats Cleveland, that will be a bigger challenge, but it's a better matchup than the Ravens.

Get pressure on Rivers and play the run like in recent weeks and then let's see them deal with the best offense in football. I like our chances.

Just factor in being OC for this loaded offense that will only get better and that you are in a comfort zone with almost guarantees success and eventually a HC gig. Gotta be better than a rebuild.

Why find reasons to pick apart a big physical red zone target who happens to be a rookie. He wasn't expected to be a big contributor, or #2 receiver in his 1st year. Instead of knocking this 4th rd. gem, try crediting him for being the starting wide receiver for the most prolific offense in football. Don't denigrate him by saying any success he's had is due to Dabol's play calling. That's silly. He still has to get open and catch the ball.

They should be. Right now, with the Steelers in rest the QB and try not to get anyone injured mode, the Browns should win. That makes it a win and you're in game. The game being in Buffalo and the Bills being the hottest team in football, create a scary proposition for Miami. My prediction is Tua will crap the bed and Fitz will be asked to pull his magic routine earlier than last week. If we want the game, the Dolphins lose.
