I'm not saying they are good enough. They need to improve. The line problems could've been addressed at the trade deadline if they felt there was a serious enough. The defense was missing 2 solid players in Star and Tremaine. Spencer Brown missing off the line hurts too. Josh had 1 really bad pick but other than that seemed( off the first watch) to have enough time to deal today. I dont want a run dominant team but if you only move the ball 1 way teams can sell out to stop it. McDermott usually has them ready to play. Thats been proven up until the last few loses. When I compare McDermott to past coaches it might be a little bit of the billsy mindset of the past but what it really comes down to is we've got a coach that for the most part has only been beneficial since hiring.

If you're made at McDermott ask yourself would you rather have something like we used to have in his position.

Brandon Beane and McDermott are as safe as it gets regardless of the outcome of this season.

The biggest thing I took away from the game that he brought up was the 47 pass attempts vs 9 rushes. I feel like they tried to use the short pass game as the run too much. So the 9 rushing attempts might only be that but they tried to supplement with Beasley. His ypc will show that. When you have run-pro and pass-pro problems you go with the stronger of the 2 games I guess. OBJ would have the biggest impact because I dont know that we get better production out of any linemen we can sign off the FA list.
