Plus they drafted a chud like Mayfield and brought that weirdo OBJ into the fold -- and figured that it would be all kumbaya. I'm not sure if one can follow a process or build a culture if one lacks situational awareness in the first place.

If they do then it will be the moodiest 6-10 seasons you will ever see. Plus: bologna.

Absolutely true. The media was right that Cleveland's roster had markedly improved over the years, but they ignored... the head coach in their analysis of a championship team. Oops!

I'm actually surprised that Gregg Williams didn't get the HC job in the first place. The Browns seemed like the exact type of dooshy, second-rate organization that would provide him the "dream" HC job he'd been looking for his entire career. Instead they went with the O version of Jim Tomsula. I'm not surprised with this outcome at all. My only curiosity is who would be in their right mind and become the next HC in Cleveland, that is, outside of Jim Tomsula himself.

Week 17: NJ Jets at Buffalo Bills PostGame

I think this is right. If memory serves, after having watched the guy here for a few years, the way to uncouple Gilmore is to throw at him early and often. -

I find myself shrugging off this loss. I had thought that a W was probable, but even so, it wasn't that much of a game to watch. For me the game to watch happened on Thanksgiving, and then we got a second helping against the Steelers. The last time I was indifferent about a Bills game was in the 1990 season finale against the Redskins. That's a super long time. Plus, I've had a house full of people (Bears fans, my in-laws) for 10 days, and a Pats loss helped take the edge off a bit. Still, I find myself looking forward to the WC round. Unlike the ditty against the Jags two years ago, I'm excited rather than hoping that something bad doesn't happen. -

Maybe it's not a popular opinion, but had the D been better during his tenure here, Fitz could've gotten the team to the playoffs. 2011 was my thinking. -

I assume it's a lifetime supply of bologna, because you know... it lasts forever according to the Dougster. -

I think that your perspective is correct about him not being a winner, ie being a loser. However, at that time I'm also pretty sure that no other quality HC was going to come here. -

Every time I look at a team like the Jaguars, I realize how far the Bills have come over the past 3 seasons. Maybe someone already said this, and if so I apologize for the duplicate. Just taking a quick stroll through TBD today. -
Cris Collinsworth man

I wasn't suggesting that The Duck should've been lit up or by Collinsworth or anything like that. It's just that I feel he was receiving effusive praise, at times, when it was not deserved. -
Seriously. I'm going to enjoy this run, and the next one. I've never been a guy who shows up at a message board and rants about how much money he'd spent to watch the likes of a Saint Doug or a Jauron or a Gailey or a Rex Ryan fight their ways to a 7-9 season. Or worse. This is something different, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Does this team have flaws? Yup. But could they win the SB this year or next? ... This hasn't been part of the conversation 'til recently. But it should be.

Collinsworth used to be my favorite NFL analyst, and we're talking probably 5-10 years ago. Romo is easily my favorite analyst now, and it isn't even close. While I stated during the game this past Sunday that I don't care about what the national media thinks about the Bills (and that all I wanted was a W), I did find it super odd that Mike Tomlin was getting face time on camera during a Bills drive. I also found that The Duck got comparatively very little pushback for his lousy performance.
