Wasn’t really sure where else to put this.
Its a fun Twitter thread. Tons of Josh Allen throws (40+)
(click on tweet to see full thread)
One thing this showed me was how important Beasley is in the passing gameif he plays even at 70% it’s huge

Speaking for myself I think Josh is ready to go and has been waiting for this moment to get back to the playoffs since that heart breaking loss to Texans. I think he is going be ready to play lights out.
Hopefully he won't make any bad decisions from being too pumped up, but I for one thin he is absolutely ready to take this thing by the horns. I don't know if it will be this year (I hope obviously) but, at some point in the near future this kid and the Bills ARE going to win a championship. My 2 cents.
I wouldn’t even be mad if we beat the colts and lost in the divisional round. I’d be disappointed sure but not angrythis team is young and Allen is learning. Winning playoff games is the toughest thing to do as a QB in this league, go ask Manning and Brees. Only thing Allen needs right now is his 1st playoff win to get over that hump.

Benching Singletary is a stupid idea. End of story.
probably but Singletary is an average player at bestThis team needs a RB like Kamara elite pass catching abilities

I think you guys all underestimate how strong the Giants defense in 90 was. #1 in Pts allowed, #2 in yards allowed, #1 in Yards/Pass etc. Not to mention that Belichick and Parcells were running it. The Colts defense is not in that class.
this too. Yes the colts have the best oline in the league but now their secondary has been ranked 31st the last 10 weeks or so -
closer I get to this game the more I feel like it will be a low scoring very close game.
Colts have a top defense and run the ball really well and are very well coached. The dline has to have the best game of the season, the colts have the best oline in the NFL.

i know he hasnt needed them much this year, but i gotta wonder if they take the shackles off his legs if we're spreading them out in man and theres plenty of room for it.
last few weeks the running lanes have been huge for Allen but he doesn’t take them that oftenI also hope he can use his legs this weekend, defenses have kind of forgotten about his ability to run and it will give the colts defense a headache in game to try and stop it

Allen takes way more hits than Mahomes does
He also takes far more risks with running. Wouldn’t really call him more durable.

There is way too much super bowl talk here when this regime hasn’t even won a playoff game yet
-
If Diggs was hurt before the game last week he shouldn’t have even stepped on the field
seems like that injury got worse this week.

Has Daboll ever had a top 10 offense as an OC before he had Allen?
that should answer your question

A John Elway when Elway was pretty mobile, but more mobile.... better comparison
Elway but taller is probably the best comparison to Allen -
Trump supporters on here must be fuming they have to support black athletes who play for the Bills
-
Man Beasley being out hurts
he deserves to play this week after the season he had

I love this team especially this year.....
But I just feel there’s too much, “this team is great”, “this team should be feared”, “this team is a team nobody should want to face”, “this team has been dominant”.......
I just hope these guys feel the same as McD said in the post game. A new season has started and there’s a long way to go. This team I feel still has a lot to prove. It’s hard to win in this league and it’s hard to maintain a high level. I hope there’s a crazy amount of fire and focus still there, with the humility McD talks about. Time to prove something!!!!
agreed. our fans have been talking more about the chiefs than the colts.
lets win a playoff game first before talking about the AFCCG. The colts will be the toughest test we have faced this season since we played the Chiefs.

really sucks to see Beasley out. McKenzie was nice for 1 game but we need our guy back out there. Can't believe he got hurt in garbage time.
I'm hoping JB can make up for him.

Tua is basically Drew Brees or bust. He does not possess any specific physical skills or strengths that make him in any way dynamic. He will live and die by his ability to read and exploit defenses with highly accurate passing. That's a really risky player to bet the farm on because if he doesn't pass for 70% and learn to surgically pick apart a D, he's damn near worthless. His arm is a noddle, he's not a dynamic run threat...again...Brees or bust.
he was drafted in hopes of being the next Brees
but ppl sometimes forget Brees is the most statistically impressive QB in NFL history. the guy had multiple 74% completion/5k+ yard seasons, which is absurd. Don't think Tua gets there even if they surround him with the best talent. But Miami are a very well run team and they will be challenging for the division next year.

Can’t believe the NFL gave the titans 3 weeks off and bent over for them but the browns are being forced to play their games

Ehh
we need a playoff win. We won’t be taken seriously until we get playoff wins
remember the bengals with Marvin Lewis?

I'm a little worried about Hines on screens/swing passes, but having a healthy Milano helps me sleep. But we need edmunds to have a game, shed blocks and no arm tackles on taylor.
front 7 needs to have the best game of their season this weekend.

After Tua’s rookie season, the pundits say that he struggled because he didn’t have any weapons to throw to.
After Allen’s rookie year, these same pundits laughed at Allen and considered him a joke, without ever mentioning the fact that his two receivers were the propped up corpse of Kelvin Benjamin and Zay “hands of stone” Jones.
Why do do some guys get the benefit of the doubt, when others do not??
this is what makes me mad
Do ppl not realize Tua's completion % and stats are propped up by all those screens and 3 yard throws? Allen had none of that, and was on a FAR worse team but he was considered a joke and Baker was the star

Resign oline guys + Milano
get rid of the dead weight on the dline and bring better talent in. Mcd could do so much more with this defense with a better dline

Yeah they had a really good team that year. NE tore them to pieces in the divisional round.
rivers has as much trauma from NE as bills fans do I’ll tell ya -
Some of these defensive rankings make no sense
phins did not look like the #1 defense. Denver didn’t look good either even tho they had guys out
-
Really want to see a better showing from McD and his defense this time
Last year vs the Texans the defense completely fell apart
