As I said in the Gabe Davis draft thread, as a UCF alum, I've watched this guy dominate for years, and is the exact type of WR the Bills receiver corps was lacking. Big, strong, hands-catcher with a large catch radius.

Keep in mind that this guy was a top option on an offense that lead UCF to an undefeated season, a Bowl win vs. Auburn, and an overall 25 game win streak. Last season, when UCF played Stanford, Davis was guarded by a CB that is projected to be a 1st round pick in next years draft and he completely abused him all day(well, first half until the game became a blowout).

I'm so excited to have him, and Zack Moss on this team!!

Davis was probably drafted to replace Beasley in a year or two

And i'm sure Beane will draft Jon browns replacement next season.

Sorry but this is a terrible comparison.   As a dawgs fan I have followed stafford since the day he signed.  Stafford is not the alpha male on any team.  He doesn't have the clutch gene in spite of his come from behind wins (he was the reason they were behind quite often.)

He will not win a superbowl and I believe Josh will.  Josh has more heart in his baby finger that stafford does...now his wife on other hand is a champ.

heart doesn't win you superbowls lol. talent does

And Stafford is a far superior passer than Allen. Josh needs to work on his accuracy and start racking up 300+ yard games

I’m not worried about Josh until he stops improving. We can talk drops, lack of the long ball, he was the third most pressured qb in the NFL, weapons, etc etc wash rinse and repeat.
He looked better last year than he did the year before. Let’s see if he can repeat that. If he does......look out NFL

thing is this season he needs to take a massive leap. year 3 is make or break for many young QB's. Allens stats through 2 years isn't all that impressive so he really needs to have his breakout year next season.

that said I have no doubt Beane will move on from Allen if he doesn't show real promise  in the next 2 seasons. we didn't risk our future in drafting him and we have more than enough talent on this team to package a deal to land draft picks

None of that really matters as much as you think which is why they keep taking practices away. Don't forget every other team is in the same boat so it is even field still. Don't use any excuses for Allen.

which is why a team like Miami could very well win the division this season

if Fitz goes out and plays good enough to win 8-9 games it might be enough. not to mention the totally unknown Tua.

    Preseason Schedule also announced:

    August 13-17 @ Baltimore

    August 20-24 Vs. Atlanta

    August 27-30  Vs. Indianapolis

    September 3-4 @ Detroit

lol there won't be any football being played in early august

I doubt the season even starts on time with the way the virus is spreading in the southern US right now. We will reach the 2nd wave earlier than any other country

  6. terrible opening 2 weeks

hate playing division opponents in the first 2 weeks. jets will be looking for revenge week 1. still no excuse, if we even wanna think about winning the division anything less than a 2-0 start is unacceptable

  7. lets hope he doesn't go to the patriots

Dalton on that team would perform better than Brady did last season. and their defense won't drop out of the top 5 so they are still a threat.

we should try and sign dalton just to keep him from other teams. would be an excellent backup.

yup. One could argue a 4-5 week long injury to Allen and our season is basically over. we have no room for errors next season with that schedule, and Barkley or Fromm isn't going to be winning very many games.

It's funny most there clearly view Darnold as the best QB in the AFC East while shitting on Allen and it's virtually the same thing but opposite here.

I think objectively it is pretty close. Allen has been blessed to be on the better run organization.

Darnold and Allen are pretty identical in their development right now. Allen has the slight edge bc of playoff experience and comeback wins but Darnold for now is def the better passer.

Unless we totally improve our offense this won't be a top 3 team in the conference.

idc how good our defense is, as we saw last season with the cheifs the NFL is all about offense now. how many points can you put up per game? we had a mediocre point total for a 10-6 team last season

I think they have some similarities, but Watt is a slightly more athletic guy. Better 40 and 3 cone and just a bit more speed in his pass rush game.

its crazy to think if AJ's 40 and 3 cone time was slightly better (just barely) he would most likely be considered a top 10 pick

The only thing keeping the Bills from being ranked in the top tier with the Ravens and Chiefs is any remaining skepticism about Josh Allen's development.  That's it.  Otherwise, from top to bottom the roster matches up with anyone in the league.  If you're a Josh Allen believer you put the Bills right there with them; if you think he'll stay what he was last season then they are still a top 6 team in the conference.

pretty much. at this point Allen is the only thing holding this team back from being a super bowl contender
