Our pass defense isn’t as good as last season but our pass rush is a lot better
strange
-
And that’s why Milano is the 2nd most important player on defense
-
Defense being dominated once again
not looking good
-
I remember how confident bills fans were before the eagles home game last season and we ended up getting dominated in every part of the game by a mediocre eagles team

that would be awkward lol

So when the Bills beat the Rams will you be like "The Rams beat the Eagles and Dallas, those teams were garbage. I'm going to need to see us beat teams like...."
there is nothing wrong with what he said
Until the bills show they can beat playoff caliber teams we can't act like we will win the division this year. Bellicheck has years of experience beating top teams, McD doesn't (yet)

The Jets were completely shut-down, with the exception of a single busted play (Tremaine Edmunds makes that tackle, and they punt) and what I would consider "garbage time" points at the end of the game with the clock ticking down. If you really think about it, their offense wasn't able to mount even one strong drive the entire game.
Against the Dolphins, both Fitzpatrick and the receivers played absolutely fantastic. The pass rush was strong, and quickly in the QB's face. The coverage wasn't bad, considering we were down both of our starting linebackers. Sometimes there just isn't anything you can do, and the opponent just makes plays. This was a perfect storm that worked against us.
This defense has been among the NFL's best for 2-3 years running, and has a lot of pride in that fact. Don't be surprised if (assuming we are healthy again at LB) this unit has a bounce-back game on Sunday.
At this point, I would be surprised if Matt Milano and Taron Johnson don't play.
Tremaine Edmunds hasn't hit anyone all week, and is a MLB nursing a shoulder injury. I'm not so sure about him...
once the LB's get healthy and Norman returns we will be fine.

So here's a funny thing. When people want to make a point about the Bills not being as good as the Rams, they're all like "the Rams even beat the Cowboys - a TOP TEAM last year". When people want to make a point about the Bills not being a good team (despite tub-thumping the Cowboys on Turkey Day), they say "the Bills only beat the Cowboys - a TEAM THAT DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS last year."
The Cowboys had a 6-5 record at the point where we faced them. Maybe getting tub-thumped on Turkey Day had something to do with demoralizing them and ultimately winning only 2 more games. One of which, by the way, was their game against the Rams, and Boy Howdy did the Boys wallop them. So there's that. (By the way the Bills beat the Titans, who did thump the Pats and the Ravens to play in the AFC Championship - but but the Titans changed QB. So they did - but they didn't change defense, and that's what we had to score points on)
I'm not sure the point you are trying to make here
McVay has already shown he is an elite coach and can beat the top teams in the league, as he's been to a superbowl. McD hasn't proven that yet.
this discussion isn't about the Bills vs rams its about McD's record vs top teams or playoff caliber teams.
-
massive game for McD and his staff
for all the praise they get, so far they really haven't shown they are able to beat the top teams in the league. we beat Dallas last year who didn't even end up making the playoffs, lost against every other decent team we played.
This year has to be different.

Goff's arm cant handle that. I think the Rams were coming into this one emphasizing the run game without the wind, but this all but guarantees it. Run D has to be on point.
Rams offense doesn't rely on big throws.
They can dismantle defenses with quick short yardage plays, the exact type of plays Fitz killed us with last week. Cupp will be a nightmare matchup if our LB's don't come back

no chance
would be a total dumb move. Young QB's are so unpredictable. look at Wentz

Huh? Milano is the one that’s a full participant. He’s obviously on track to play or he wouldn’t be practicing in full.
And this game is just as important as the AFC games. Rams are tough and we need to stay ahead of NE, they are not the demised team people tried to make them out to be on the off season. In a short 16 game season, every game is very important
just saw that

doubt Milano plays, we have some tough afc games right after the rams
Edmunds I think will be back
-
rams are a top 5 team in the league
this will be a massive test. just hope Allen has another strong day but without Edwards and Milano I can't see us winning this one. defense looks lost without them.
-
NFC west is 7-1 so far this this season
And the AFC west is probably the best division in the conference. this might be the toughest schedule I've seen us play in 20 years

Raiders are another strong AFC team.

why do the bills let these interviews happen
***** first take and ***** espn, garbage show. Allen shouldn't have to be forced to do these interviews for those braindead hosts

thats what I was going to put. New England looks pretty good and need to be ranked ahead of Buffalo until proven otherwise (other than a nail-biter loss @ Seattle)
yup. Until McD learns how to beat the patriots we cannot consider ourselves a better team.

Baltimore is the best team in the league for me.
Bal
KC
NE
Buf
Ten
top 5 for me

We beat 1 playoff team last season in the Titans, and that didn't even count bc they had Mariota
if we wanna win the division we have to win these games. NE went into seattle and was a few yards away from beating them with Cam throwing almost 400 yards to no names. Patriots are a very good team this season
-
he has totally transformed his game. still making a few mental errors but he is learning how to use his arm
that said we got some very tough opponents coming up so now the real test begins

ford isn't good.
he was really mediocre last season also. idk what his best position is but right now he shouldn't be starting

Brady finally left NE and they went back to another MVP level QB.
absolute joke how bad our luck is.
