Milano is the 2nd best player on this defense and fans are having doubts about re signing him lol
at this rate we should be asking ourselves is Edmunds worth signing after his rookie contract ends

even if this doesn't fix our defense the fact McD is making a change is good news
the last thing you want is a coaching staff refusing to change things and identifying obvious issues. our dline has been terrible all season and they know it.

i'm not saying talent level, but more playstyle. a hard hitter who covers the entire length of the field. there are tons of top LB's in the league who play like that.

don't know about that. no real injuries on the dline. Edmunds is playing hurt yes but we still need better talent at several spots

I feel like Beane hasn't done McD any favors this season.
His recruitment on the defensive side of the ball has been really poor. We have seen what McD can do with lesser talent, but this season he just doesn't have the right guys in his scheme. Edmunds is nowhere close to the type of MLB Luke was in Carolina.

We need to replace both DE's next season.
Draft a guy round 1 or 2 and sign 2 other FA's or make a trade.
an elite LB and pass rusher is what this defense needs.

they might be right in the dline is rotating too often and guys aren't getting in rhythm or have enough reps to make an impact

We said the same thing before the raiders game as they had a terrible run defense and we gave up running the ball by the end of the 1st quarter

i really hope we don't get a surprise inactives list full of starters we had no idea would be inactive this week like there was vs the titans.

Both the Giants and 49ers who don't have good defenses this season have played well vs the Rams yet our defense gave up a 28-3 lead.
I'm starting to think our defense is far worse than some of us think....might be bottom 3 in the league. That desperately needs to get fixed.

I wonder when technology comes out to somehow prevent ACL injuries as they have to be the most common season ending injuries in the last 10 years.

Look at Rodgers today -- he knew when the game was over today, and he accepted it and moved on. You didn't see him get all red-cheeked and crazy.
Allen looked a little rattled after his INT on the sidelines, like he knew the game was over and it was his fault (it wasn't, we were never stopping the titans offense that night)
He hates losing 1 game more than winning 5 in a row

Tampa had an abysmal defense last season
How have they turned it around so fast, meanwhile we have a bottom 5 D in the league

McD has to figure out a way to beat the Patriots this season. A season sweep should be the main priority.

Andy Reid has 2 days extra prep for this game coming off a loss
he is going to go all out today with the offense. I just hope we don’t get embarrassed on National tv again. Another blowout loss will seriously hurt us mentally
