Let's Go Buffalo replied to Herc11's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is interesting to think about. Hopefully this time around it's a better ending! Also, thank you for working out there on the front lines....Much Respect! -

Let's Go Buffalo replied to The Firebaugh Kid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm happy for those who are getting a chance to attend. Please yell a little bit louder than usual this time around. I'll be yelling at the Television. Go Bills! -

It's been a long time coming, and extremely nice to get out the brooms for a well deserved sweep of the Patriots! Go Bills! -
Your Favorite/Most Memorable Bills Christmas Gift
Let's Go Buffalo replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My favorite Bills Christmas gift was when I was pretty young, and got a kids sized Buffalo Bills helmet and gear. It was the plastic kid helmet that didn't have much protection, as I found out later that winter while playing against family and neighbors outside....but man was it fun at the time! -
Why Did You Become a Buffalo Bills Fan?
Let's Go Buffalo replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm from Kansas, and my Dad was one of Steve Tasker's college teachers. Once Tasker joined the Bills, we then became fans of the Buffalo Bills. It was interesting being raised in Kansas, and having Chief fans all around us, but we stayed true to the Bills, and are now Buffalo fans for life! -

Did that just happen? BILLIEVE IT! -
Good! I'm glad Shady is getting one more go around. He deserves it.

Shady Still Looking for a Home . Update
Let's Go Buffalo replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Shady has one more year left in him. He can still shake defenders, and can catch the ball out of the backfield at a decent rate. He helped us break our playoff drought, so I'm hoping he gets one more chance somewhere, like Gore is getting. -
Should Steve Tasker be in the Hall of Fame?
Let's Go Buffalo replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tasker shined on the biggest stage at the highest level year after year, and dominated many pros who are already in the Hall of Fame. Also, when some of those same Hall of Famers have said that Steve deserves to be in, then that's good enough for me. -
I'm from Kansas, and have been a Bills fan all my life, so most of the Bills games that I've attended were when they played the Chiefs (who I don't like at all), and it was interesting wearing my Bills gear in Arrowhead Stadium, surrounded by a sea of red. I finally did get the chance to fly to Buffalo, and see the Bills play a home game, which was a season opener, and it was definitely a dream come true for me.

Remembering James Robert Kalsu
Let's Go Buffalo replied to Drunken Pygmy Goat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great post! Great day for honoring their memories! -
Thanks for posting this. I remember that I was in my vehicle, and I pulled over to get an update of this game on my phone, so I was sitting in some lot on the final drive, and on the last play with 5 seconds, I was hoping they would just do a quick out pattern to Watkins.....of course most people were probably thinking something similar as well, and sure enough!

Coach Shula was one of the greatest coaches ever, and was a great leader on and off the field. RIP Coach Shula

Steve Tasker was my favorite player for many reasons. He came to my hometown when I was growing up, and spoke at our school. He has been a friend of my family for years, and has always been a role model for us. I've always admired his work ethic as well. He never gave up on a play, and gave all he had on every down. Steve's a great person off the field as well, and has always been a solid leader in a humble way. His motor as a player was off the charts, and I always tried to play like that when I was in high school. Later on when I became a coach, I tried to pass on his traits on and off the field.

RIP, Mr. Tom Dempsey. I remember watching the highlight of that 63 yarder in amazement when I was a kid, and the impression it left on me as well. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Dempsey family.

Good for Coach Frazier. He's a tremendous leader, and deserves some recognition.

Gore was a class act and good mentor for Singletary. I don't blame him if he wants to watch his son play college ball, if that's his next step. It was nice to have this future Hall of Fame back on our team, even if it was for just a year.
