Thanks for the post, HOUSE. Lee Roy is another legend gone, but not forgotten. He was definitely a tackling machine, and whenever you needed a stop on defense, there he was. Thoughts and prayers for his family.....R.I.P.
Pretty amazing person! Some people forget that Marv Levy enlisted in the armed forces during WWII, and always knew how to put things into perspective.....like when he said to a reporter, "World War II was a must-win" ..... My Grandpa also served in WWII, and I never got a chance to meet him since he died before I was born. My Dad thankfully was able to share with me stories about him. That era was a different breed for sure....Always have had my utmost respect!
