If this were 2004-2007, this is where I'd chime in and give you numbers to call and ways to resolve this. However, I haven't worked for Dell since Oct, 2007. Regardless, I've had nothing but great luck with them, but I am aware that the horror stories are out there, and plentiful. Best of luck to you in getting this resolved and/or moving forward.

I believe that member schools have veto power. If this is the case, then I don't think that WVU would ever allow Marshall. Possibly same w/ USF and Central Florida. I can't see SU blocking UB, as that could become a GREAT rivalry. Regardless, the Big East needs to add 2 schools and a championship game to kill some of the talk that it is undeserving of a BCS auto bid.

As a Cincinnati fan (and season ticket holder), as well as a supporter of Big East teams in bowl games, I'd welcome the addition of UB. Another school would be needed as well, which is the difficult part of the equation, in my mind. Central Florida and Memphis are 2 that are brought up, but I think that both are mid major schools with no hope of bringing anything to the table (in football, at least). Perhaps ECU...

Well, I can't say that I recall Eugene, but I hope that his ailment doesn't prevent his son from heading north - there's a lot of speculation that's saying the kid wants to come to Cincinnati.

I did, actually. As a season ticket holder, I had already put a $50 deposit on the bowl game back in the early summer when I paid for my seats. Ponying up an additional $75 wasn't ideal, but it counts towards UC's official allotment, not only allowing me to sit amongst UC fans, but also helping to do my part to make sure that my school sells their 17,500 tickets. As of this Monday, UC had sold somewhere in the neighborhood of 13,000 tickets. I still feel pretty good about 17,500+ UC fans being in South Florida for New Years.

I'm going to Vegas that same week. Was actually just there the first week of December on a fun trip, but Jan 13-17, I'm there for a trade show. Fortunately, the business is picking up the tab - staying at the MGM, the show is at Mandalay Bay.
