why would any team want him? He's just an OK player and now trying to play through a difficult injury from last season.

Sean McDermott is the 2nd Best Coach in Bills History
LB48 replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We should have won a couple of Super Bowls but Marv believed in his players too much and basically followed what they told him. You're being naive. Look at the past 20 years in Bills history and think about it. -
Sean took over a team that hadn't won anything in 17 years. January 2000 was our last play-off appearance! We all lived through it and it was UGLY. Many players and coaches couldn't make the Bills a winner despite tremendous fan support. Now I see posts about "winning signature games" or if we lose to the Patriots it's a disaster. Crazy and stupid! It's the NFL in 2020 and most teams have a very good QB and can win against any opponent. IMO Chuck Knox was the best coach in Bills history. He took a losing franchise to respectability and back-to-back play-off seasons. He assembled rookies and veterans to build a strong team. IF he got his indoor practice facility, an aggressive GM and a upgraded contract he might have stayed around. Marv Levy was an ORGANIZER! Not a great head coach. He had the best team in the NFL talent wise. He refused to make 'adjustments' during a game and felt the best way to win was to let the players do it. Four Super Bowl losses should fall on him. No game planning and no adjustments. Kelly could only do so much but didn't coach the defense and a lot of his success was due to ad-lib plays and Thurman Thomas. I respect Sean and the 'process'. It's working and Buffalo has a good, NFL competitive on the field each week. GO BILLS!

Rewatched the Jets game, not good for Edmunds.

I was never an Edmunds fan since day one despite the big hype he got from the media. He just doesn't make plays. He didn't last year and now has a shoulder injury. I couldn't imagine that he was made the MLB and was calling defensive formations. The 2020 NFL has caught up to him. -
The Bills need his confidence!

I was referencing a quote from 'BigDingus' ABOVE that stated: "The grammar, punctuation & drunken rambling of it all does not paint a bright picture of those from Buffalo "🤣 WE could care less about this type of comment!!

REAL people from Buffalo - home town people - could care less about this comment!

Allen will get his $ but I don't think Edmunds or Milano will -

The 3 names you mention in your post have either been overrated as Free Agents or don't mix well with the players currently on the roster. -
It's been 3 years since this report. I don't see any improvement in his play - - maybe dropping off. What do you think? [Edit: this report appears to be from https://www.profootballweekly.com/2018/04/17/nfl-draft-profile-no-11-virginia-tech-lb-tremaine-edmunds/a42uauc/. Please give your sources when quoting someone else's work. Thanks. -Mod] Gap integrity looks like that of a 19-year old. Will take the wrong gap and watch runners go where he should have been. Eyes get too big — gets greedy and will overplay the ball. Takes on blockers at poor angles and gets cleaned out of plays. Has to key better on OL movement and diagnose run plays just a hair faster. Doesn’t use his hands well enough at this point to stack and shed interior OL blocks. Can get blown up by crack-back blocks — must do better job of keeping head on a swivel. Instincts are still developing in coverage — prone to getting fooled by play action and misdirection and will have trouble locating the ball at times. Sometimes gets lost in space. Plays too shallow sometimes and doesn’t cut off enough of the field. Still developing physically, too. Carries his weight well but needs to add take-on strength. Isn’t a Brandon Spikes-type of linebacker and could add a little more nastiness as a hitter.

not to criticize - but - I can read the same thing in the Buffalo News (out of town for you) and on ESPN News. Get us something spectacularly different.
-
Me too! This was started in the Buffalo News today when a columnist questioned the decision - - not an original thought!
-
I respect your opinion but have to disagree. It's the lack of talent at the DT's position. The 3 new guys were never anything special during their careers. You can't coach-up players that don't have it!
-
We all have to get realistic about the Bills & NFL. We are the lovable (?) losers who can't beat the better teams regardless of coaching or players.

So true! They are one drop by the Dolphins & Fitz in the endzonefrom being below .500
