Both of the plays were identical. Play-action to the back and then get Hughes to make a one-on-one decision as to who he should tackle. He bit on the RB both times and Murray literally walked in to the end zone. Where were the other LB's and especially where was the D-Line?? They were invisible. It was great scouting by the Cardinals to see that weakness in our defense. It's all pretty discouraging.

We have an abundance of TALENT on offense. We are short of TALENT on defense. You can coach all you want but if your players are a bit inferior to the opposition you lose!

I agree here. Defense is better and now they have a real QB rather than Fitz!

I agree 100%. They just aren't tough or rough enough.

We spent a lot of money for Defensive Free Agents. Were they over-rated? Maybe journeymen that looked pretty good in another defensive scheme? Maybe they needed great linebackers to help their game? I don't know the answer. This is NOT a criticism of our GM or HC. Josh Norman, Butler, Jefferson and Addison have contributed very little. Add that to a less than explosive Oliver, Trent Murphy & Jerry Hughes slowing down and we have a weak defense. I don't blame Frazier or any of the coaches. It's about talent.

With Tua playing so well I think the Dolphins will win the division and we'll be just outside the play-off curve. NO defense kills us.

I agree with the Davis comment. He ran flat instead of coming back. The look on Allen's face told the story!

I felt the same. They couldn't believe how bad a run defense we have. Butler, Addison, Oliver and Jefferson were non-existent.

Another old fan here. My Dad I went to the Raiders game in WMS in 1960. It was rainy and proved to be the smallest crowd for Bills home game ever. I was hooked from that day on.

The Dolphins could easily be 9-3 after their next 4 games! Check the schedule.

Our defense is terrible and the HC knows it. I don't see a decent LB on the team - regardless of injuries. Taron Johnson doesn't cut it in the NFL. We are underdogs vs. the Seahawks and deservedly so. Get these guys in the game and learn the system. What do we have to lose?

Yes - and - Yeldon can come in and do a capable job.

Sure, they are small. Sure, they don't have high end speed. Singeltary & Moss are a great combination. They hit the holes quickly and can make moves in the Defensive backfield to add yardage. Both seem to block well and catch passes out of the backfield. They may not be 225# Super Star, high profile running backs and that's fine. I like what the Bills have!!!

I am a long time fan who remembers all the frustrating losses to the Patriots over the past 10 years. They were a special team and deserved to win most of the match-ups vs. the Bills. We came oh so close to wins and it just didn't happen. I'm almost scared to state it - BUT - we should sweep the series against them in 2020. That's somewhat tough to imagine as a Bills fan BUT the worm has turned. GO BILLS!

Lou wasn't the HC the season of the 1st Super Bowl. He quit like he did so many times before.

He was the BEST boxing commentator. Even in a miss matched fight he could make it relevant with his points of view!

IF Marv and his staff had done ANYTHING innovative in the Super Bowls we might have won a few of them. No new game planning and a defense that was over-rated.

The announcer less game was an American football contest played on December 20, 1980, between the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. As an experiment, the NBC television network broadcast it without assigning any commentators to cover it. The Jets won 24-17 in an upset over the Dolphins! I don't like many of the NFL announcers today with scripted comments and analysis BUT this game was ultra boring!!

I didn't like calling Marv an "organizer" rather than a great HC. But - after watching so many years of Bills football that's what I think. Getting embarrassed in 3 SB's was a coaching problem.

I agree. With a Tyrod style offense we could be 2-5 at best!
