  1. I disagree about the ability to process coverage schemes and feel the pass rush! He's too raw!
  2. USA Today Sports. Who really cares who said it - - is it true in your mind??
  3. Limits?? As in posting things you don't agree with?? Free Speech!
  4. Per ESPN: "Allen has still started only 27 career games, so while this is a critical year, it’s hardly out of the question that he’ll continue to improve. If he takes a step forward as a passer and continues to be one of the league’s most effective rushing quarterbacks, the Bills should be able to win the AFC East and host a playoff game for the first time since 1996. If he drags an excellent defense down, he could become the next Mitchell Trubisky." I don't care about Trubisky at all but I do have a feeling that the Bills 2020 season depends on Allen's STABILITY at QB. In my eyes he's still a Rob Johnson or J.P. Losman hybrid. Great, strong arm with the ability to run. BUT, so herky jerky in the pocket and unpredictable in his decisions when under pressure. I hope I'm wrong but I need proof!!
  5. Ditto for me!
  6. Wallace bounced off more people than he tackled.
  7. Yes - we definitely need an upgrade at CB depth. Wallace makes me very nervous!
  8. I agree. There may be a DT that we can utilize!
  9. And - Harrison Phillips coming off an injury has played a total of 19 NFL games and most in a back-up role. Now he's the starter??
  10. How can you say that without any pre-season games against real opponents? We've read about our DL replacements in free-agency but never seen them perform!
  11. If he'll sign for $192,000 per year on the Practice Squad against his current $700,000 salary it would be surprising!
  12. I'm still scared about our muscle up the middle!
  13. At 6'5" 272 lbs. I don't see him as a force stopping runs up the middle. More of a Jeff Wright guy! Other than returning from the injury his NFL experience is very limited!
  14. The Bills kept bringing in DT's through out training camp. Quinton Jefferson is more of a DE than run stopping DT. Harrison Phillips coming off an injury and Vernon Butler will have to handle the bulk of the load up the middle. Can they stop runs up the gut of the defense?? Despite his aversion to tackling last year Levi Wallace seems to be the best pairing with Tre White right now at CB. Josh Norman is a big question mark with his ongoing injuries. Taron Johnson and Neal scare me back there as fill-in starters. Any Comments?
  15. The Poster (he or she) understands the 2020 Practice Squad rules. This person understands that 6 veterans can be signed to the Practice Squad for 2020 at $192,00 for 16 games. The way a team can sign another player from an opposing practice squad appears to be unchanged. Another team can sign a player from an opposing practice squad to their 53-man roster at any point as long as they aren’t protected. It would probably also depend on the player passing a COVID-19 test. That may be very rare this year as many teams may not need to do that as often with their own extended practice squads and the risks of bringing in outside players. Practice squad players will make $8,400 per week or $134,400 for 16 games. Veteran players with over two years of experience will make $12,000 per week or $192,000 for 16 games. Following final cuts on September 5th at 4 P.M. Eastern time, players will either be placed on waiver or become unrestricted free agents. Once waivers have been completed, teams may start constructing their 16-man practice squad. Players can not officially become members of a practice squad until after the waiver process has been completed. Why would Andre Roberts or Robert Foster re-sign with the Bills for just under $200,000 a season?????????
  16. First of all - it costs $ in salary, meals and equipment. Each member gets $8,400 per week! Most of the 16 aren't worth the expense.
  17. I hate lawyer talk! I'm just expressing an opinion!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Oh Yes and who cares how they do it!!
  19. But 25 of them are not NFL material! They just let the real team members rest a bit!
  20. Too many bodies that are beneath NFL standards!
  21. Crime? Wow! It's not illegal to pick up TV channels floating all over the universe!
  22. The 2020 CBA allows for up to two players in a given week to be promoted to the active roster without giving the players a normal player contract. Normally a player must be removed from the 53-man roster to make room for a practice squad promotion. Then, if the promoted player is sent back down to the practice squad, he has to clear waivers. That is not the case with these two players. Under this new rule, players revert to the practice squad the next business day without going through waivers. A player can be utilized in this way for two total games during the season.
  23. That's about another 1/3 of the 53 man starters practicing. I think it interferes with game plans and routine practices.
  24. The new NFL Rules regarding Practice Squads allows up to 16 in number. Six members of the practice squad can have unlimited NFL experience. I think 16 is a clumsy number for any team. How to you think the Bills will handle the Practice Squad?
  25. So True! Nobody should pay fees to watch every NFL game with a standard Internet connection!
