  1. I heard if you take a few PSI out of the ball that helps.
  2. He's invisible on the field, awful, little pressure, and also grades out poorly on PFF so my eyes don't lie. With the draft picks we have invested those kids will make you forget him in a hurry. He's a vastly overpaid rotational player hence why they essentially terminated his contract this offseason after signing him just the year prior.
  3. The Bills restructured him in the offseason voiding the final year of his deal and leaving a $2MM cap charge for 2022, while saving money in 2021. He's gone after this year and will not be missed. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2021/3/24/22347967/buffalo-bills-voided-final-year-of-mario-addisons-deal-as-part-of-restructure-buffalo-bills ...and the 5th rounder for Teller after drafting him in the 5th the year prior...
  4. Bills have the better defense, superior QB, better passing offense, better run offense, home game, vs a weak armed warm weather QB making his first playoff start... bills have literally every possible advantage except for the coach. They better win.
  5. Mark Brunnel
  6. Analytics are good but often misunderstood and applied incorrectly. Analytics themselves don't tell you want to do, they give you additional detailed information that will need to be considered within context of the data and the application for which they are being used. Game situation, assessment of current player performance within the game and current series, weather, matchups, etc all still apply. Everyone wants to put a single number to everything that tells them what to do but that's not how analytics work, although that's how they are often used especially during a broadcast. Nothing drives me more nuts when they (the broadcast) flash a stupid single number on the screen and say you have a 58% chance here you should go for it, that generalized single figure isn't exactly applicable to the particular situation. But most likely the teams are using it in the proper context, it's just the talking heads that aren't.
  7. Yes, we all know. And Alabama continued to run the Erhardt Perkins system. That's the system Tua was successful in and what Daboll runs. That's the system Tua flourished in. That's the attraction there.
  8. Excellent depth. Large with length can have him inside or outside to rush. Never had big sack numbers but was a solid rotational guy that could disrupt, had 13 TFL and 18 QB Hits his last year here, would be good for 2nd and 1st on the team this year despite the extra game (Milano leads with 15 TFL this year). Need depth guys like this.
  9. Tua was successful in college coming up in Dabols system, with Dabol coaching him. Dabol would bring that same offensive system that he flourished in to Miami. I'm not making a case that Dabol is going to be the Miami coach but the connection there is blatantly obvious.
  10. Belichick press conferences are akin to what a conversation is like when you ask a kid how his school day was.
  11. To me there is one individual that should lead the charge and he maybe not be able to move too well, he might need a scooter/cart, but having him lead the charge would not only blow the lid off the fans but the players as well, especially if it is a surprise... Tre White.
  12. My prediction: Beasley goes next level and plays without his face mask. Scores TD in the process. In all seriousness, I think Beasley is going to make an iconic play sticking his nose in there for a huge 1st down or TD.
  13. This was after the Pats win and after Hyde and Poyer threw a hissy fit postgame. Totally deserved this comment. He's not wrong, it's true. It was entirely embarrassing. McDermott was comically out coached then after the game gave no credit to Belichick, threw players and coordinator under the bus. It was bizarre and terrible. We didn't adjust at all during the game and it cost us. Keep running 4 linemen out there, and the Pats literally kept running some of the same plays over and over and out wasn't until 4Q that Milano finally started blowing out up. That game was a total embarrassment. They have every right to mock us.
  14. You take Flores over Fangio all day because when he gets another HC gig you get 2 3rd round picks.
  15. Doug Flutie with the body of Cam Newton and arm of Jeff George.
  16. So Jordan Palmer hasn't coach Josh at all because it hasn't been during games? This is nonsense. Guys get coached outside of gametime.
  17. They are going to look to confuse the line and Allen. He is going to bring a lot of pressure but contain and spy Allen as well with the goal to get him to scramble but then realize he can't. He'll take away quick hitters and force the ball mid/down field. That's my guess. He always mixes and disguises coverage but playoffs are a different animal. The other thought is they'll let the Bills run the ball to take it out of Allen's hands. Much like he did on the Giants to the Bills in the super bowl.
  18. Coached him a lot longer than that, he developed him and wanted to play him over hurts but Saban wouldn't allow it until desperation hit.
  19. Dolphins want him reunited with Tua.
  20. Can he pull the Warren card and say he's 1/1024th native so we can get a couple draft picks?
  21. Because in poor sloopy weather power run game is more successful. Because we are an outdoor team in Buffalo, we need to run in bad weather at home. Power run game doesn't require a freak of nature NE was successful for years with guys like Blount doing this. Dingleberry has come on recently, he's been solid, but we'll see where it goes on the playoffs. He's under sized, lacks power, lacks speed. We need a more athletic/dynamic talent in the backfield. Moss is an undersized plodder too.
  22. You're missing the point. We are talking about a team being fit to win a super bowl. The Colts don't have good QB play, very different team and they play in a dome. The Bills need to run especially in cold weather. Their RBs were so ineffective it hurt the team. Hopefully the improvement sticks but it is still the weakness of this team and may doom us in poor weather.
