Told you guys, love Beasley but he's cooked. Dude is done. He's 33 and lost a significant amount of athleticism. Made some great contributions here, congratulations on a good career Mr Beasely.

Singletary was close to fumbling with seconds remaining
ArtVandalay replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Christ, he's got two hands on the ball too. Dingleberry is small, weak, unathletic. We already drafted his replacement in Cook. Can't wait to see him go and run someone with athleticism back there. The RB position in this offense has such insane potential for production it's ridiculous watching that get wasted and yardage left on the field. Need someone that can break it to the house. Hoping Cook is ready to contribute after the bye. -
Easily replaceable. Fairly easy to upgrade. Not a leader. No use paying the salary he costs.

How is a new RB going to make a difference behind this OL?
ArtVandalay replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Singletary is undersized and one of the least athletic RBs in the league. Don't hit that disagree reaction, it's a measured indisputable fact. We lack explosion at the position massively at a position where athleticism matters most. We lack size, strength, and athleticism at the position, real bad combo. -
Now that I've verified your credentials, how common is grabbing dongs in the pile?

What level do you coach and what's your coaching position? And for a living you mean this is a full time job love in your own fully through coaching?

I'm going to bite on this one... what exactly does it mean that you "work in the field"... pretty broad statement.

Because you don't give the rookie time to sit back and throw and hit his dumps in the short passing gane. You confuse him send blitzes and speed the game up. Guy isn't even going to know how to call protections.

On the final pass we got lucky with Lamar making a poor decision. If your watch again, Lamar probably had the TD if he pulled a Josh Allen and instead of drifting back and to his right if he instead planned his foot and spun left around Lawson. Nothing but green grass and end zone options.

We need to blitz the hell out of him.

Great sequence here. A little bit of everything... pass underneath, made tackle. Huge run stuff blowing up the RB for a loss. Jackson runs tackled short. Jackson scrambles and throws intercepted. Defense literally covered everything in those 4 downs.

You play him when he's ready. You don't hold him out longer or rush him back. If he's ready he's ready and you play him. KC game is a playoff game and may very well determine #1 seed.

WR - Almost as Decimated as Secondary
ArtVandalay replied to OldTimer1960's topic in The Stadium Wall
He 100% pulled back and let the ball by because he thought it was going to Diggs. They talked about it on the telecast too. But what you said exactly describes what I said about him... he's frustrating because he makes the spectacular plays but then it's just so bad on the routine and lacks nuance at the position. With the WR injuries it would be nice to see him step up. -
WR - Almost as Decimated as Secondary
ArtVandalay replied to OldTimer1960's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well we have a TE that was just given a monster contract. Maybe he can start catching some balls and not short arm pull back and give the defense a pick. I like Knox but the dude is so frustrating. Makes spectacular plays with his athleticism, but he's got no nuance and craps his pants on routine plays. -
Like i said originally i believe we contracted 4 teams or had a few divisions with 5. Peacekeepers is a bunch of spare parts.

Crazy, he did that against what the media was calling the presumptive MVP too.

You act like Phil Rivers wasnt a hall of famer. The way you just described Burrows is how Rivers could have been described in SD.
