This is what you said: “Fans” trying to drag this team back into the stone age need to find another team. Show me these people are arguing we throw too much and need to be a run heavy offense... I'll wait. Monster difference between that having an effective running back (who can also contribute as a receiver) who can contribute at a more effective level do we aren't relying on Josh to run it himself on designed runs and do we aren't 1- dimensional especially come winter. It's pretty straight forward what this is, a discussion about our RB talent and production, with the counted point being to the line play and their impact to the run game. Absolutely no one is saying such this offense and become a run heavy team.

Holy straw man! I mean a guess it is scarecrow season so what better time? No one is recommending this, try reading. There's an entire discussion with statistics and everything. You could read it.

Bailey Zappe coming for McCorkle’s job?
ArtVandalay replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
McCorkle sucks, his arm is far too weak. Makes Chad Pennington look like Jeff George. Zappe already took the job, he continues to play solid he'll keep it. -
Again didn't say any of this, you are really in your own world here having a conversation that doesn't exist. Right, we have the best QB in the NFL and throw a lot, I think everyone understands this. I was merely illustrating that our line is not at fault for our rushing game, it is the running backs, and plenty of tabs are successful rushing without top line play due to RB ability.

That's not remotely what i said at all. I have no idea what post you were reading lmao 🤣 Also, you realize that it is harder to maintain a higher YPC with more volume right?

Davonte Adams should be suspended a game
ArtVandalay replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Send him to the pit of dispair! Cancel him from society! Suspended the rest of the season! Mandatory therapy!! Transfer all his weather to the grown man that was pushed!! I am horrified!! Thoughts and prayers to the camera man as he attempts to make a full recovery from this criminal push. We need pushing control NOW!!! I want a congressional hearing! -
First off, that doesn't matter, the point i was rersponding to is that in season trades are somehow pennies on the dollar, they are not. But as for the RB point... It is still a premier position if you can catch the football, which CMC does, and he can line up in the slot and play boosting his value further. It isn't that RB isn't a premier position but rather the shelf life of RBs is much shorter than other positions. So teams are not as willing to make investments into a short shelf life. CMC is one of the elites that is more than just a RB. However he has been incredibly injury prone the last 2 seasons and carries a ton of risk. He also has a ton of value.

The New York Giants ar #26 at 69%. Saquon Barkley is #2 in the NFL with 533 Yards Rushing and 5.5 YPC. #1 Rusher in the NFL, Nick Chubb, has 593 yards and 6.1 YPC with the #17 line. #5 rusher Dameon Pierce has 412 yards (2 behind #4) and 4.8 YPC and is a rookie with the #31 line. Meanwhile the #1 line in the league with James Connor rushing has only 200 yards and 3.7 YPC. This only illustrates the importance of the skill of your RB, skilled RB with an NFL line will be productive. And if you don't have skill at RB you aren't going to produce.

Tua still out? Wow... I know the back injury he could play with but that finger injury must be worse than I thought.

If RBs are a dime a dozen how come this top flight offense can't find one with two 3rd rounders and a 2nd rounder? Identifying RBs is a major weakness of this front office. As amazing they are with the secondary, they are equally awful at RB. It's okay, every front office has weaknesses. NE can't draft WR, we can't draft RB.
-
I think you need to go back and look at past mid season trades, if anything the price is higher. Mohammed Sanu was traded for a 2nd rounder. 32 year old Von Miller a pending free agent, was dealt for 2nd and 3rd round picks Jalen Ramsey cost two 1sts and a 4th Minkah Fitzpatrick cost a 1st A washed out useless Kenyon Drake was dealt for a 6th that could be upgraded to a 5th and you think CMC will go for that? You guys need to get serious with what players cost.
-
Singletary and a 6th for CMC? Do you have any idea how entirely unrealistic and insane this is? Maybe the Panthers will offer us Baker Mayield and a 3rd rounder for Josh Allen 🤣

Herp derp YoUs GuYs DrAfTeD tHe WrOnG jOsH Remember those comments? Lol
-
You're taking about the guy that got caught from behind by a 300lb DT today... right? 🤣
-
Lmao there is zero chance that Moss nor Singletary make that cutback then weave and bust that and make the safety miss. ZERO CHANCE. How do i know? I've watched them not do it over and over and over. Both Moss and Singletary would have been tackled for a loss by the two defenders to his left, no question. Neither Moss nor Singletary have the physical ability to make this run. Nor the vision. Watch the replay again above, this wasn't a simple handoff and open hole.

Nice so that's what happens you are a RB that's faster than a Defensive Tackle
-
He was just lulling them into a false sense of security!!!
-
Hahahaha Morris with The Replacements stickem celebration, love it.
-
Keep feeding Babe Davis. Good lord Shakir can turn it upfield in a hurry. Wish we had an RB like that instead of a guy that gets caught from behind by a 300lb DT.
-
300lb DT chasing down Singletary from behind. Sooooo sloooooow.
-
One of the best TD catches I've ever seen, so Fn strong. Love me some Babe Davis... 1 handed them rips away from the corner. Beast.
