  1. The game was in a monsoon. You can't draw any conclusions from that 1 game. Jimmy G is not mobile he's been sacked 7 times in 5 games. This doesn't preclude them from making any OLine improvements.
  2. He hasn't been out of football for 3 years. His season was canceled in 20 after 1 game and he continued to practice. Last year, he wasn't in games but he practiced wtf the team consistently through the week. He's injured this year after 1 game. What do you think happens to that team if he doesn't pan out? They suck anyway. You field the best roster around him as you can. If he sucks you suck anyway.
  3. They received 2 3rd round picks from compensation for someone hiring McDaniel. So they trade a 2 and 3, but received 2 3s. They are factoring comp picks when valuing these selections which many people are not. They traded their 2023 first rounder to move up and get Trey Lance who they invested in as a franchise QB and they are giving him necessary weapons for when he returns next year. Mobile QB with CMC, Samuel, Kittle, Aiyuk at his disposal? They are making his job super easy and supporting their young QB with all necessary options. They are going to be paying Lance pennies so they can afford to spend more on weapons like an RB that doubles as a WR from the slot. Letting your developing QB sit for a year (got injured this year now in yr 2) then supporting him with strong weapons and strong run game is pretty much exactly how you want to build around a young QB.
  4. The game they lost to Chicago was a monsoon, horrendous field conditions... you would have figured The Weather Man would know that. They are 3-3 and first place in their division. It's possible they miss the playoffs but not probable. 2-0 in division games so far with Ws over Rams and Seahawks.
  5. 2 "high" picks 2nd and 3rd. 4th and 5th are mid. Is that a steep cost? Right now our backfield has a 2nd rounder and two 3rd rounders invested in it and look where we are, meh. 2 JAGs and need to give Cook time.
  6. The only thing the CMC talks revealed for me is how absolutely clueless some fans are outside of Bills football. Anyone that doesn't want CMC due to the cost for an injury prone player, 100% valid. However, the minority of fans that tried to claim Singletary is just as good, better, or CMC isn't very good is laughable. Some people are just so out to lunch and clueless about football outside of Buffalo. Same thing that used to be said about Pats fans here.
  7. Funny how conveniently people forget the underhanded garbage from the Chiefs D Line the past few years. Also Mahomes with his bush league fake slides. Nevermind all the low character scum rotating through their team... one of the lowest character teams in the entire league. Coach Reid enabling his son until he destroyed a poor girl's life. Tyreek a scum of the earth human off the team at least. Beat his toddler kid and broke his arm, history of being an abuser towards women and children. World will be a better place when he dies. Just nothing to like about that team. Fans are cool, sure, but the people on the team it's an absolute human landfill of trash.
  8. Dan Campbell gave a press conference talking about biting knee caps. Adam Gase was high as a kite eyes rolling in his head at his press conference. Josh McDaniels committed then changed his mind after things were mid motion with position coaches being hired. If you think slamming a clipboard because your WR was a dummy and the team lost because he didn't get OB is gong to cost him a job you're out to lunch.
  9. With where we are drafting and the standing of our team and talent, I would rather deal 1st rounder than both a 2nd and 3rd. With where we draft, our cap getting close the need for replenishing depth, I would much rather take the 2 and 3 over the 1 with CMC in return. Even if we don't make a trade here i would be happy to trade our first and gather multple 2/3 picks. For cap, depth, talent reasons.
  10. The regular season MVP has won SB 10 times and 6 won SB MVP Bart Starr 1966 Terry Bradshaw 1978 *Mark Moseley 1982 *Lawrence Taylor 1986 Joe Montana 1989 Emmitt Smith 1993 Steve Young 1994 *Brett Favre 1996 *Terrell Davis 1998 Kurt Warner 1999 *Did not win SB MVP. That's 17.9% of the time which is dramatically increased chance to win the SB. Basically NFL has increased playoff teams since the 70s from 10 teams to 12 and now to 14. You have a 1:5.6 chance of winning the SB with the MVP as opposed to 1:10, 12, 14.
  11. Right, there was 1 home game out if 5 last year he put up big numbers in Dec/Jan. He did not vs NE (wind), Carolina, Atlanta, Jersey Jets. In fact he failed to reach 250 total yards in 3 of those 4. He threw for 145, 210, 120, 239... 63 rushing vs Jersey put him over 300 but all those still well off the pace. Not saying you can't put up numbers but the weather can be unpredictable and create poor conditions.
  12. I'll have some of what this guy's smoking!
  13. No QB in NFL History has ever had a 6,000 Total Yard season. The record is currently held by Drew Brees with 5,562. He had 5,476 passing and 86 rushing. Peyton Making has the most passing yards in a season with 5,477... 1 more than Brees. Josh Allen presently has 1,980 passing and 257 rushing, total 2,237... this is a 17 game pace for 5610+728=6330... shattering the record and on pace for first 6k season ever. Time will tell if he can do it. Unfortunately winter weather in Buffalo usually brings decreased offensive stats so he needs to get the numbers up early to carry him into December/January where every game will be outdoor northern winter weather (games in Buf, NE, Chi, Cin).
  14. Very physically gifted player. Absolutely dreadful football player, who is clueless on the football field zero nuance and may never figure it out. Will always make some player because of physical traits but not a guy to rely on.
  15. Why only 10 games. That's absurd. He's under contract for future years and his contract isn't that big you can't fit him. Cap is crap, restructure a couple guys and you're good. No big offensive FA signing. 2nd Round Picks of recent years: James Cook 63 Boogie Basham 61 AJ Epenesa 54 Cody Ford 38 Zay Jones 37 Dion Dawkins 63 Reggie Ragland 41 Cyrus Kouandjio 44 That's going back to 2014. Draft picks are not as valuable as people think once you start putting faces to the picks. What you do have to be careful with is overall roster depth and not depleting picks, but to trade once in a while or manageably is okay.
  16. Wow, I'm actually shocked. He was neck and neck with Edmunds for who was making a bigger impact this year.
  17. I love it too. But the problem with the motion man is it tips off when the snap is going to happen. They are going to have to mix it up. Maybe put this on film then in a key spot (playoffs?) when you need it motion then hard count to try to get a jump.
  18. Yeah. They learned how to make it happen 1 second quicker. In a great game this was an utter failure and a great cause for concern that we still can't stop a FG with 12 seconds.. yet again giving up underneath with a big gain after the catch. That NEEDS to be buttoned up. Can't expect to win by 4+ or as time expires vs every team in the playoffs.
  19. He's lucky he was in a place like KC where fans are much nicer. Huge game like that ends and you start yelling at fans to get your ass out? In their home stadium? That will get you knocked out at the Ralph or most other stadiums.
  20. Holy christ are people still crying about this? Give it up, this is embarassing, we've lost only like 3 of our last 12 vs Miami.
  21. You're telling me Miami needs to change their field because of players dying. I simply asked what players died at Miami. I'm not saying heat stroke doesn't exist, I'm saying no NFL players have died in Miami. I remember Korey Stringer died of heat stroke in Minnesota. It can happen anywhere if proper care is not taken.
  22. High school is not comparable to NFL, you are talking children vs fully grown men. Medical personnel in NFL sidelines in incomparable vs moms and dads for high school kids. So what NFL players died at Miami?
  23. What players died? I missed this. Yes, 25 degrees can kill you especially if you catch hypothermia or you can't get a necessary IV for a player who is dehydrated. But I still can't recall who died... I know Vonte Davis retired at half though.
  24. So then there no room for this team to complain about Miamis advantage surg the shade. I love gamesmanship like this.
