Prior to his injury he ran the 8th most routes of any TE in the league, that figure with injury and bye is still the 17th most in the league of any TE and hes run a route on 70% of the teams pass plays. So he runs plenty, the blocking excuse is BS. He's just not refined as a receiver and hasn't made any improvement. On the INT today he's running vertical instead of horizontal when Allen rolls. Fundamental breakdown. The lack of development given his contract reward is terrifying. These type of deals are what land your cap in hot water. Gave him a pass for the first month, but need to produce, there's been zero development from last year.

He didn't play terrible, he is terrible. No one wanted to hear it when Hyde and Poyer got hurt. He's trash and doesn't have NFL athleticism. He's a special teamer.

NFL teams want trade deadline moved
ArtVandalay replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Have the deadline too late and teams will just fire sale and tank like crazy. It's fine where it is. -
No because he hit a man and Rice hit a women, true equality doesn't exist -- punching a women is worse than pouncing a man, and rightfully so.

The "non-interception" by Edmunds

McDermott has one of the worst challenge records in NFL history. 6 for 24 in his 6 seasons, as of a couple years ago only Lebeau and Reeves were worse. If you are scratching your head why we didn't challenge, that's why. Camera angle showed clear possession. Where Edmunds controlled the ball and Uzmah didn't have a single finger on it. He tried grabbing it after Edmunds fell to the ground. -
Josh Allen's waning confidence and mental yips

Just pulled the play up on DVR and timed it, it was less than 2.5 seconds from the snap. -
The NFL Head Coaching pipeline... running dry?
ArtVandalay replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
You forgot to add a rapsheet longer than a CVS receipt including grabbing a female by the neck and giving drugs alcohol and prostitutes to minors and covering up rape allegations of players. He's a human piece of garbage. -
Josh Allen's waning confidence and mental yips

The play he got hurt on was in the pocket. The only thing the offense had working was him running. -
Is There So Little Love for Tremaine Edmunds?
ArtVandalay replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
The plays he made was tackling guys moving east/west chasing down with his athleticism when things go sideways (no pun). But when it comes to actually reading plays and being a MLB he's atrocious. He can't play MLB. We gave up 174 yards rushing this week and 208 rushing last week. Need to play outside. -
McDermott is one of the worst head coaches in NFL with challenges. In 6 years he's challenged 24 and won only 6. As of a couple years ago only 2 coaches in NFL history were worse than him, Labeau and Reeves. That was clearly an INT of you go back and watch, plenty there to overturn. Commentators just covering for refs as usual since there was no challenge. There was a clear angle with possession.

Like i said, not so much miscommunication but Knox not understanding what he's supposed to do. He got vertical instead of horizontal. Just fundamentally bad play by a guy that lacks receiver ability. Hard to involve the guy more when he still screws up fundamental plays as a receiver. There's been zero growth this year and it is terrifying considering the deal he signed.

Both picks were miscommunication. Well the first one wasn't so much a miscommunication more so than Knox not understanding what to do, he needs to get horizontal on the scramble not vertical, scramble drill 101 for a shadow receiver there, but that's meathead Knox for you. The 2nd pick a massive miscommunication Allen and the DB were on the same page, Davis was not. Only thing working was Allen running it himself. Yet again mid-year fall off, it's coaching. It's inexcusable. Fix it now. Can't lose another division game.

Saw a comment in the game day thread about face guarding the final play, that hasn't been a rule for 20 years.

Where are you seeing players can only play 17 games? Is this a new rule? Guys have played more than a single team schedule in the past due to trade/waivers. In fact this happened in both 2018 with Damon Harrison and 2019 with Emanuel Sanders when they played 17 in a 16 game season by changing teams. To my knowledge there is no rule and Robert Quinn is also being written about as being the first to play 18 games.

Allen has never flopped? Oh yes he has lol and he was greatly criticized for it too a few years ago. And yes, he does plead with the ref for calls, as does every QB in the league as they are so heavily protected and any penalty against them results in an automatic first down. Flop flop Flop Flop and beg
