The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Reality Check replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
There is no hoax list. Perhaps you are pretending to be a member of the Stasi. Perhaps under a Biden administration, your dreams would come true. -

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

I thought the Queen ran Canada via the Pilgrim Society and SERCO. Trudeau is a puppet. Did you vote for that? -

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

You don't realize it yet, but you will likely be voting Trump in November. -
Curious response. I simply state that it is all corporate propaganda, and that while we quibble over the minutia of politics while taking one of two "sides", we are all becoming insolvent as a nation. You are too eager to score points in an argument about nothing than actually focusing on the real world results of different policies. If I were you, I would start studying a little thing called "white papers". Explore the different subjects as it pertains to contracting with various federal agencies, and then try reading books on those subjects. Books are silly to some people, but you might actually enjoy the process of research. CNN and Fox are only good at telling you what one combination of corporations would like you to do versus the other. They all agree that you should drink alcohol, ingest lots of sugar, take a myriad of pharmaceuticals to address the results, and spend money you don't have. If that formula is important to you, then good luck. I will be going a different way.

ALL corporate media is propaganda. It is a false paradigm that one "side" has a hold of the truth. While people argue about "sides", 99% of the public increase their debt while jobs are moved offshore. The old liberal banking order is over. The banks get bailed out so that they can foreclose on your property. That game needs to end.

Now that we know millions can work from home via the internet, I suggest we outsource those jobs next, while shutting down our food production and opening our borders to the third world. We can all live happily ever after on welfare. Just remember to do exactly what the government tells you to do and take your shots when ordered. A good citizen obeys their government.
-
I never thought that things would have to get this bad before people understood that outsourcing jobs to China would be self-destructive in the long term, specifically in regards to national security. Now that the jobs and businesses last in line for termination are on the edge of insolvency, we are all suddenly supposed to panic. Its all fun and games laughing while the blue collar jobs leave town, but now that we know many more white collar jobs can be done by remote, another wave of outsourcing is now possible. We can blame the government, but we ourselves created this mess. Through fear, trillions have been extorted out of us, and no one even blinked. Perhaps we should finally admit that we are sheep, and stop pretending that America is still viable as a nation of free men. Perhaps we only exist as vessels for bankers to wash their money through. I guess we are all on welfare now, surviving on the whims of plutocrats and financiers.

I am biased against voting for lawyers holding public office. -
Potential Altered Offseason/Start of Season Thoughts
Reality Check replied to wiseman3's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I see very little chance that the regular season will be delayed. -
I would prefer that he gets the ball out faster, even if that includes throwing it away. I am not a fan of the hits he was taking towards the end of the season. For every one of those hits, his future gets a little dimmer. Not good. They need to get this kid help. Against the Texans, that o-line couldn't even handle 5 on 3 defenders. Completely unacceptable.

The Mystery of the Missing Screen Plays
Reality Check replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They were awful in the execution. Having wide receivers that can block it up effectively was a major problem. The timing of the o-line throughout the season was erratic regardless of the play call. If McD really is a student of Reid, then the screen game needs to become a priority this offseason. They need to sprinkle in more no huddle throughout the games also. With 9 new starters on offense, it was a surprise to me that they were as effective as they were with JA who was only in his second year. I anticipate next season being another step forward in the development of their identity. -
This post is on the money. The Texans are a talented and tough team who have passed the test that the Bills are going through now. The Bills are a young team learning who they are, and how to win with it. Another off season of building the roster, hopefully a healthy pre-season, and they will take a step forward once again. JA is the guy, haters just have to deal with it. As a pocket QB, I feel like he will improve for years to come. The Bills are finally in a state of growth with a real QB, and I just couldn't be happier.

11 and 5 would be great as long as we avoid injuries. My biggest concern is a formidable Jets defense with a spiteful Greg Williams at the helm inspiring cheap shots on our offense, especially to Josh Alan. I must admit that I am a little conflicted about what I want to see in this game. We do have a lot of backups that can use the reps going into the playoffs. My fingers are crossed.

I agree with the OP that it was a vanilla game plan. The score was 24-17, not a blow out. The Pats ran formations and plays that they haven't run all year, and the Bills played a lot of bend but don't break zone concepts. In the game film, the Bills, if they meet the Pats in the playoffs where it means something, will have a clear understanding of exactly what they need to do to attack them and how they truly match up position by position. It felt like a scouting expedition or a simulation by the Bills more than a win at all costs sort of game. Offensively, the Bills showed absolutely nothing new that they haven't run all year, and saw how well they matched up with predictable running plays. I personally could care less about this game as long as the Bills are in the playoffs. Being a young team, a bye week would only hurt them any way. The first weekend of the playoffs will be the greatest Christmas gift I could ask for. One and done, I don't think so. Go Bills and Merry Christmas!

How scared is the offense playing?
Reality Check replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought McD understood what they had to do perfectly. Hence the 17-10 victory on the road against a team with serious momentum behind them. This is a young team learning how to win. This season has been quite refreshing. A 35-3 victory lends no advantage into next week's game. They are on the rise regardless of what the Bills do in the Playoffs. This team steps up when it's prime time. I just couldn't be happier.
