  1. Lots of blame to dispense because of the last 2 playoff years. And we can certainly speculate the worst case scenario playing out at OBD.
  2. Why? You could have just come to my house, punch me in the gut, and stole all the beer outa my fridge!
  3. Bills may never win a Super Bowl, but we'll have the most labels for playoff meltdowns in any franchise's history.
  4. I started to pick Cincy, because this game exposed weaknesses and we now know we're not really contenders. After 13 seconds, I had high hopes in the offseason. But I switched to 13 secs for that very same reason. I realize all that excitement and expectations last year were wasted! Plus, you don't lose games like that. It was likely our Super Bowl year.
  5. Then we get pushed around!
  6. I'm not far behind you and I was thinking the same thing. The folks that say 'relax, we'll get there eventually'. Really? I'm starting to think, maybe not! It's been 56 years and nothing. Who's to say it won't be another 50 or more. 12 teams have never won a Super Bowl. If 10 of those teams each gets their first Suber Bowl win in the next 10 years, there's still 2 teams that will never have won it....10 years from now.
  7. Maybe if he Bills didn't play like absolute dog crap in one of the biggest games, the fans emotions and assessment of the team wouldn't flip on a dime.
  8. We died on the mountain, just like green-boots Jack Ryan: "Hounds to the hunters." Captain Davenport: "Your Russian's going to make it to America, Mr. Ryan. He's going to die within sight of it."
  9. Exactly. 56 years is way more patience than should be expected.
  10. I agree with almost everything you said. But I'd take A Bills Super Bowl win and the NFL Films highlights everyday and 10 times on Sunday. I'd even put the highlights with Chris Brown on a loop.
  11. Didn't know Tarasenko's been out, but looks like he's back for tonight. Dangerous player. Wish we had a tighter defense, but I'll take the way the Sabres have been playing.
  12. I think the Stanley Cup could beat the crap out of the Lombardi. It's bigger, older, and taken a beating over the years.
  13. After that loss, there was hope. The offense was lighting it up. Gabe Davis was on fire. It gave us the thought that we had most of the pieces. A few tweaks on defense and the offensive line, and we all thought this was the year. I was completely invested in the offseason last year. This loss is the icing on a cake that was getting stale and moldy as the year went on. The defense continued to give up monster plays, the offense turned average. Then the mistakes started piling up. A wins a win. You need them to be successful. But how you win, or how you lose, matters. The team's regressing. Lots of question marks. I don't know. Maybe this is what the team and fans needed. Smack us back down to earth. Unfortunately, I've always thought A Buffalo team would have to be absolutely dominant to win it all. I never thought we were lucky enough to go in as an underdog and shock the world. I'll be much less glued to the Bills this offseason. I'll check in from time to time. That's all I got now.
  14. I'm racking my brains trying to think how the Bills will lose a playoff game next year. It's different every year, but they find a way.
  15. What's the point? It's just gonna be a bunch of babble and no substance! Let me summarize: "A very disappointing end to the season. We played an excellent football team here, but we also didn't have our best game. Lots of things we'll look at, things we'll work on to fix which ultimately starts with me (regardless of who's speaking). We'll have the offseason to look at those things and we'll work on those to get better as a football team moving forward." followed by a bunch of softball questions and vanilla answers. End of press conference.
  16. Probably true. We keeping doing a lot of moving on, but not a lot of learning going on.
  17. The Game, with Michael Douglas
  18. Was hoping Damar would lead the team out of the tunnel, as has been mentioned before. But reading he is still on the O2, might not be possible.
  19. Who has children at 95. And how did you age so fast?
  20. Dawkins. He's stealing another helmet!
