  1. I think it's worthy of it's own thread. This one goes beyond hype. I think I'm gonna watch this before every Bills game the rest of the season.
  2. And Dak Prescott might be back for that game. I'm thinking unlikely, but if he heals quickly enough, he'll want to play that game. That would be a big storyline for a division rivalry game.
  3. With Tannehill going thru therapy this offseason, his psyche still might be a little fragile. I know he doesn't really scare anyone, but he can be efficient at times. I'd like to see an interception early. A pick-6 would be ideal. Rattle his decision making a bit. A couple of sacks might do the same thing. Anything that allows us to focus more on Henry.
  4. Displayed my Bills paraphernalia all over the house. Plus Bills slippers, Bills socks, coffee in Bills mug to start the day. Then Beer! in Bills mug until I left for the bar. Then, the tradition of beers; the number corresponding to a player. Thursday night it was Diggs. half the beers were 16 oz at the bar, so that number was about right. Uber's my friend. I'll target the Josh Allen number soon. Maybe Monday night. Doubt I'll ever get to RBs and secondary. Maybe Zack. And ..... Tyler Bass is right out!
  5. I agree, the numbers do look bad. But if you roll it up with the team stats, I'll take it. He only scored 1 TD, their only TD. So, perhaps they gave him some cushion so he wasn't a monster difference. The D took care of the rest of their offense, so like I said..... I'll take it.
  6. 10. Knox .... Absolutely agree. I'm sure his emotions are still a bit fragile as well. Let him play a supporting role for a couple of games. I have no problem with that. With that said, I have an image of him pointing up after he scores his first TD. I don't think I've ever gotten chills while screaming like an animal, but it might happen then.
  7. Well, if it's "Karma" reasons only, I'll have to go with Culture Club ......
  8. In Florida as well. Yeah, Audacy cuts out a lot for me. Listening yesterday had to pause and restart several times.
  9. Well, it looks like he's going to have to carry a football with him everywhere he goes for the next 10 days.
  10. I haven't listened to the post game in a long time. Is Cover 1 the WGR post game show? I'll be watching the Monday Night game at home, so I'll definitely try and get a Buffalo post game broadcast.
  11. Could be simply to give the players a rest. More prone to injuries when fatigued.
  12. For out-of-towners, you need NFL+ to listen to the games live on Audacy. For years I would listen to the pregame, but once the game started, it would switch to a national broadcast with an NFL RedZone type format. I'm guessing it's the same for the postgame. They probably have the rights for 30-60 minutes after the game before switching back to the local broadcast. If you only want the audio, it's only 29.99 for the season.
  13. Not sure you want to post that publically. the Secret Service might see it.
  14. Ooooh, not sure. I used to do "Most Wonderful Time" years ago, but I saw someone did a good rendition a few days ago. I also tried another one years ago, can't remember which one, but it wasn't good. i'd hate to start it and get into the "J" word. But that choice fits, if the lyrics work.
  15. Ok, many of you have gameday rituals. After the previous season ended, I saw the thread where many folks admitted to breaking their pre-game rituals and blamed the loss on themselves, which they should have. Why, oh why would you break tradition in the playoffs?? Unacceptable! So now we’re on the dawn of a new season. So my charge to all the folks with their tried and tested rituals (mostly), DO your PART! If we win, I know you did your part! If we lose, I don’t want to hear, “Bluto, (use the voice) my go-to jersey wasn’t clean, so I had to go the backup!” or “Bluto, we always do beef ribs, but their too expensive. Too expensive?? Shoplifting isn’t even frowned upon these days. Get your kids to the grocery store and GET IT DONE!!” So bottom line, your traditions must be followed……….Patting your kid on the head 17 times, running outside with nothing but Bills boxers and drinking a beer, 3 shots in the shower before the game….whatever it is, DO it! Just DO IT!!! Ok, We have a long day tomorrow, so get some rest. But be ready to do you part!! Go BILLS!! And Go MAFIA!!
  16. Me too! wherever that Labatt Blue truck was going, that's where I wanna be. 😭
  17. Very nice! I hear it's healthier than using a turkey fryer!
  18. I think we're all going to pass out before the game starts.
  19. I've done this a lot of years. Doesn't feel the same with a night game. and if it's getting stale, let me know. Twas the night before football, and all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The Labatt Blue was chilling, in the cooler with care, In the hopes that Bills football soon would be there. The players were all nestled, by curfew in bed, while visions of Super Bowls, danced in their heads. Some mama in her G-string, and I in my thong, Drank too much tequila, 'till the night was long gone. When out in the den, there arose such a clatter. I sprang from my bed, to see what was the matter. Away to the couch, I stumbled and tripped, grabbed the remote, and cursed when it slipped. The sun on the blades, of the fresh painted lawn, Gave luster of football, the waiting was gone. When what to my wondering eyes should appear, A powerhouse team, and Bills Mafia with beer. With a steely-eyed coach, and Big Baller Beane, They created a beast, one we may never have seen. More mightier than Rams, their warriors they came, They whistled, clapped, and shouted their names... Now Dawson, now Devin, Now Josh and Stefon, On Groot, on Micah, on Jordan and Von. To the top of the league, to the top of the world, It’s Playoffs, Super Bowl, then LOMBARDI this year!...Please?!.....PLEASE?!
  20. Bills should incorporate a play where they use "Pizza Pizza" in the snap count.
  21. Pretty entertaining, however it took a bit of a cringey turn when he started singing to the life-size cutout of Josh. Diggs is all business. Got himself dialed-in.
