  1. I've got my onesie ready and cereal selection but I'm not watching on Disney.
  2. Anyone have a quarter I can borrow? I need decide if this is a good thing or bad thing.
  3. Don't know why, that makes me chuckle every time a read it. Bills 34 Phins 31
  4. Thursday night football is like the weekly Christmas Eve. When I was a kid, we were allowed to open one gift on Christmas Eve. It was always pajamas or socks. Kinda feels like that's what Thursday night football games are like.
  5. Be careful. Anything can happen....
  6. Me, by the time the primetime night games arrive......
  7. I have a question about this 12 personnel thing. Actually a more general question to the numbered personnel terminology. Let's say for example we're at the goal line. And the Bills line up with 1 tight end, their normal compliment of linemen, no RB, but one of our backup linemen lines up at RB. The Fridge thing. Is that 11 personnel or 01 personnel? Seems to me it should be 11 which is contrary to how we use 12 personnel with Kincaid lining up in various spots. Why is the numbered formation terminology based on the players and not the actual formations? I think if you're in 12 personnel, the tight ends (regardless who is playing the position) should be in tight on the line of scrimmage. What if we put 3 RBs split wide with 1 TE in tight and 1 TE in the backfield? That's 32 personnel implying 3 RBs. and no WRs, when we really have 3 wideouts and 1 RB. Or am I overthinking this whole thing?
  8. And he's not the only Smith that called himself a Legend....
  9. Watching football on TV anymore is like walking into a house of mirrors. Every week it's labyrinth of networks and streams to wade through to figure how to watch any particular game.
  10. I'm a bit concerned about the "Unknowns." Applicant: "Can I get a part time job as a Line Judge?" NFL: "Where did you go to college and what is your current occupation?" Applicant: "Umm, ......I'll get back to you on that." NFL: "You'll do fine. Here's your plane ticket. Meet up with the crew in Buffalo."
  11. Yes, that was painful to listen to. Hadn't listened to him in a long time and my first thought was he had a stroke. Looked it up and it turns out it is a different condition; Mitochondrial Dysfunction, which I'd never heard of. It causes fatigue, muscle weakness and neurological problems. It's really too bad for him, but for fans' sake, he should retire. Or perhaps they could have him do spots on their intermission show.
  12. I worry more about our run defense than our pass defense. Don't know why it is, but Bills seem to get gashed for huge runs several times every year. When it happens multiple times in a game, that's a recipe for disaster.
  13. Fish heads fishy heads Roly poly fishy heads Eat them up, yum........yum
  14. You're right that we probably won't jam Hill at the line, but Milano, or anybody else for that matter, won't get to Tua. They have absolutely schemed the offense so Tua doesn't take a hit, which would dictate that we should absolutely jam him. My hope is that the line gets enough penetration that forces Tua in to some errant throws. Maybe a pic.
  15. If he has Jack Daniels in there that's the best new Bloody Mary I've seen in a long time.
  16. Aside from Vegas, which one poster correctly pointed out is a destination place for vacations, the other locations have traditionally had visiting team fans. Particularly Florida teams. And while a lot of fans travel for the warmer weather during fall and winter, there are a lot of displaced fans living there.
  17. I'm gonna laugh if that game ends in a tie. It would be so appropriate, however. Dang. SoonerBillsFan, you beat me to it.
  18. How can you fail with that outfit?
  19. A lot of times great coordinators can not transition successfully to a head coaching job. I just don't think some of them have what it takes. Their best destiny is to be a coordinator. I've thought, and said this many times over the past couple of decades. You see it rather frequently. A couple of names come to mind; Norv Turner, Jim Schwartz, Dan Quinn, Wade Phillips. A couple of those had marginal success as head coaches, but they're still better at the coordinator job.
  20. It’s not spelled this way Tua Tungavayloa Why's the N sound there?
