  1. Martin St. Louis - Tampa Bay Lightning. I live in Tampa and have been to many Lightning games. Mostly when Sabres are in town. Not so much lately. After warmups, and after most of the players have exited to their locker rooms, he would sprint to the home net, stop and sprint back to the bench area. Weird. Saw him do it twice.
  2. Did these things exist in the early 80s? If so, I would have been a happy camper at Bills games. Although I'm sure I would have needed a diaper change at halftime.
  3. This woman did what has been brought up at some point in every office/workplace everywhere.
  4. Holy crap. Look at that list. Why don't they just give every player a coach and be done with it?! Seriously....Offensive Quality Control? Assistant Offensive Fellowship? Not to mention the primary Offensive Fellowship.
  5. On offense everybody eats. On defense Bernard just eight. .....I'll leave.
  6. Mostly Scotch / Irish for me. Was passing through Ireland several years ago, sitting in a Dublin airport bar. There was a group of about 4 Irishmen sitting at a table near me. Couldn't understand a stinking word they were sayin'.
  7. I read the Cat's Diary in Stewie's voice. Totally worked for me.
  8. I thought it was funny seeing a car drive by, only person in it was the driver, windows up, wearing a mask.
  9. A name has never fit the physical persona more than this.
  10. Just give them cash. Everyone can use a little extra cash.
  11. To add to that, I don't think he sees the field that well. It's easier mentally to cover one guy in man coverage, than to survey the field in zone coverage and react to things as they unfold. It's very possible he'll be more successful in a different defensive scheme.
  12. I will say, whenever I see a "Name" or "Vague" title thread, I open it every time. I get a little giddy because it's like a box of chocolates.......you don't know what's inside until you take a bite.
  13. Really don't know or care about Dan Hurley. But Elizabeth Hurley......now that's a Hurley I can wrap my arms around!
  14. I firmly believe Covid was all over the country by the time we hit 2020. I'm convinced I had it (Early February in Florida) shortly after it was reported on the West coast.
  15. 2 of the 10 commandments obliterated here. And, many times, one leads to the other.
  16. I'm sure Roger Goodell will give them a good stern talking-to.
  17. I'm convinced I got it the day before the Super Bowl. I believe there were only 1 or 2 cases on the West coast by then. I was so sick on Sunday, I had to go to bed by halftime. Called in sick all week until I finally went to Urgent Care on Thursday. I was having breathing issues. They diagnosed me with bronchitis. The prescriptions I was given worked in about 4 days, but I remember being so dizzy and weak waiting to pick them up. I was coughing so frequently and violently my abdomen hurt.
  18. This is all fine, dandy and encouraging until another rule change is implemented after the Bills get hosed again in the playoffs.
  19. If I win the Lotto, I'm giving half to charity!
  20. That was my first inclination. But the more I thought about it, it occurred to me that it's much less urgent to check in on family or friends when there is 2 people in the household. If there is a medical emergency, the other person is normally there to call 911. It's much more important to do wellness checks on someone that lives by themselves.
  21. I think all of this is a really good take. I will say, I like Jim Nantz a lot, but Chiefs and Bills with Tony Romo is getting really, really old. We've seen that movie several times, and when I think of it now, it gives me the bitter beer face.
  22. I took the 13 Sack line. And it's simply because if you have a guy that can hit that sack number, it doesn't necessarily equate to taking plays away from other guys. It may even boost other player numbers. Whereas on offense, you're likely taking away targets from other guys. Not a bad thing, but I think there's a bit of a ceiling on offense. I would really love to see a dominate defense at times.
  23. Me, needing more cowbell!
  24. This is the season where Ian Rapoport and Adam Shefter compete for Breaking News tweets.
  25. And not surprisingly, Rob Ray approved.
