Anyone else feeling pretty good with the Bills?
Chaos replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thank you for the feedback. I won't argue one by one, but it seems like the Chiefs have gaps at receiver, and in the secondary as much as the Bills, as well as issue on the offensive line. -

It seems to me all teams have gaps in talents. Which teams do you think have fewer gaps? -

Why? what is lacking? -
Was and will are different.

Disagree. Also, fundamentally none of the Bills playoff problems are the fault of the offensive talent.

KIncaid had a fine rookie season, and projects to be a top tier tight end in the future. However, the "moving the chains problem since Beasely" is a myth, based on statistics, In 2021 the Bills had the fifth fewest punts in the NFL (chiefs had least). In 2022 the Bills had the fewest punts in the NFL. In 2023 the Bills had the second fewest punts in the NFL. The Bills did not have problem moving the chains.

Does Josh Allen still work as hard in the offseason?
Chaos replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Whats obvious is the simple fact that you haven't any idea of what he is doing in the off-season. -

How is it possible to disagree with “my understanding “. Separately double check your sarcasm detection system -

My understanding is that any other head coach means entering a 20 year playoff drought, with or without Josh Allen. -

Its not clear what the most clownish part of this thread is. Here are the nominees: Anyone posting in this thread knows what the optimal off-season workout for Josh Allen Anyone posting in this thread knows what Josh Allen's actual off-season workouts actually consist of. Despite not know 1 or 2 above, being certain Allen isn't working hard enough Somehow the Bills playoff failures are connected to Allen not working hard enough in the off-season, -
Together they could be five.

We are set at WR. Maybe we’ll grab one in Round 6.

I think re-signing Taron will allow the Bills to finish top 8 again in 2024. If they had to replace Taron, I also think the Bills would finish top 8 in 2024. Not completely sure this is the best use of 10mm of cap space. -
Which NFL Team do you think is winning the offseason up until this point?

I think losing Ridley hurt the Jags -
I never find comparing the 2024 Bills roster to the 2023 Bills roster or the 2019 Bills roster as interesting because the 2024 Bills will never play a previous version of the Bills. I don't pay attention to every free agency move, so I don't have an opinion (which is odd because I usually have an opinion on everything) who has improved their team the most with the combination of coaching changes, player cuts and player signings. (ordinary administrative moves like restructurings or extensions, may create the ability to improve a roster, but the don't actually change the roster in and of themselves, so I don't consider them needle movers. ) So far the only move that jumped out as me as maybe be missing piece to allow a team to advance further was the Raven's signing of Derrick Henry. But I have no idea what else the have done. Who does everyone think has done the best for themselves?

The Bills will be better in 2024 and everyone overreacted
Chaos replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
This has not been an issue for the last five seasons. What has been an issue is that in January a lot of people have to come to realize they were too optimistic. -

Bills will make the playoffs. You can bank on that. Will the dline show up in the playoffs when it matters? who knows; Will players drop multiple catchable passes in the playoffs when it matters? who knows. Will special teams blunder at an inopportune moment in the playoffs? who knows. Will a coaching blunder ***** defeat from the jaws of victory in the playoffs? who knows. We really need to get "who" in here to tell us what the future holds for the 2024 season. -
What if Allen and Mahomes swapped exact situations?
Chaos replied to first_and_ten's topic in The Stadium Wall
He won the superbowl shortly after getting his first superstar qb. So you kind of miss that the point of the discussion. How many Super Bowls do you think McDermott wins with Baker Mayfield or Kirk Cousins as his QB ? -
I think Elite is more measured as 150 players in the league in terms of impact. Going by position would imply having the leagues best center and 15th best wr is as valuable as having the best wr and 15th best center. And some players transcend positional value. McCafferty is an elite player at a position They also have elite coaching

Khalil Mack & Joey Bosa Available for Trade / Could Be Released
Chaos replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills have gone out in the divisional round the last couple of seasons. The core of the defense cut over hill and was cut. Von Miller and Matt Milano are both coming back from serious injuries. If you were Mack, it is not obvious that the Bills are the team most obvious to get to the super bowl.
