Marquez Valdes-Scantling meeting with the Bills (UPDATE: Signed)
Chaos replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen threw for 4,306 yards in 2023. You are confident he will exceed last years total, but put 4500 yards at low odds. Your predicition is pretty precise, somewhere between 4307 and 4499 yards. -

Its plausible for Kincaid to have 100 catches and 1000 yards. -

maybe. But offense is not the reason we lose playoff games -
NFL Ref John Parry joins NFL team (Update: It’s the Bills!)
Chaos replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
We will never know if he is doing a good job or not. We will have zero insight into how many times McDermott ignores the advice. -
Something can be funny without being witty. In the three hour roast, there was maybe 20 to 30 minutes or witty humor. Most of the rest was some version of shock humor. Which became repetitive. it’s not possible to call the fourth reference to Aaron Hernandez witty. But it is still possible to laugh. Many 6 years old laugh at the word “poop” every time they hear it. Much of the roasts humor was on that level.

The correct answer is, drum roll please, : Terrell Bernard
-
How many passing yards do you think the Bills will have in 2024? Whatever your answer, why does it matter which receivers get the yards?
-
Step up and tell us what this means in terms of expected results.
-
So your saying with all this sameness, we should be able to count on making the playoffs and bowing out in the divisional round? or some other expectation?
-
I would expect if VPG is worthy of a roster spot, even though he is only a center, that if a guard was injured they may move McGovern to guard and play VPG at center

"Is coming for" suggests you think the NFL is doing something wrong, by asking for help to combat already illegal activity. Unless you support the illegal activity is is an odd way to phrase it.

In hindsight, should we have traded for Diontae Johnson?
Chaos replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
The real question is "Have the Bills done enough at WR?" -
Thousands of posts analyzing every in and out of the Bills entire organization. I enjoy them. But if one pauses for a moment and thinks its through; the Bills as a team would have completely irrelevant the last 5 years without Allen. He is more than a franchise QB. He is the franchise.

2015 Carolina Panthers: Have we ever been as good?
Chaos replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
One piece of good news. The Bills will not be playing the 2015 Bills. The bad news might be the possibility that McDermotts prowess as a defensive guru may be more about having a stacked roster than anything else. -
This plus the unnecessarily crude language degraded the roast as a whole. If the number of f bombs was reduced to say 50, and giselle and the murderer were left out all together, it would have been a much much better event.
-
I don't think you know what literally means. It was ok, but the average Dean Martin roast of yesteryear had far more wit.
-
The problem, as I understand it, from public comments of the coaching staff is that Josh scores too quickly on these drives.

Question or topic of the day - a new idea for the board
Chaos replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This may make some sense on the surface. But if you pin a topic that people only read and don't post it, it doesn't seem like it will be particularly interesting. -
But did the do enough at the WR position?
-
No team whose first pick is in the late 20's is flush with draft capital.
-
To be clear on my earlier comment I can’t imagine McDermott and Beane have any disagreements on the Bills Draft Board prior to the draft, and I doubt very much they deviate from that board during the draft. Which means McDermotts authority on player personnel is closer to equal to Beanes than subordinate to Beanes.
-
Brandon Beane seems to be the opposite of Billy Beane. It is impossible for me to imagine he would tell the scouts “you don’t know” Or to tell McDermott “You play the guys I pick”. Brandon Beane seems entirely collegial in his demeanor. I can’t imagine there is any disagreement among Beane and McDermott before the draft begins.

What are your thoughts on the Steelers QB situation?
Chaos replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Steelers have done enough at the QB position to get to 9-8 again. -
Question or topic of the day - a new idea for the board
Chaos replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
As a rule of thumb, if the topic needs to be pinned to draw traffic, it probably isn't that interesting to the wide audience of board members. (this excludes announcements and the like) I am not sure I understand the need to designate a "topic of the day". The current system of threads rising to the top of the board based on traffic and recency seems to successfully identify the topics people are most interested in on any given day. -
The Bills should sign kicker Jake Bates from the UFL
Chaos replied to LeGOATski's topic in The Stadium Wall
You seem to miss the part over and over again of not paying the big contract.
