    My impression from McDermott's comments is that he sees the coaches role as "reigning in Allen" to run the brilliant conservative offenses. I think other coaches might actually look to try to amplify Allen's talents with a much higher risk, reward approach. Could be wrong, but that is my impression.

    Why? If we can't win a championship with him, why should we worry about keeping him?

    Allen is my all time favorite player. McDermott does not seem to know how to use his talents. Does not seem to be a good match. I think McDermott would be happier with a Purdy plus weapons or Darnold plus weapons. As people love to point out he was just about as successful with Tyrod Taylor.

    There should be a timeline on the Allen-McDermott marriage. No super bowl this year or next year should result in divorce. I would like to keep Allen, but if the team is wants McDermott, they should give Allen a chance to pursue a championship elswhere.

    He was the NFL Offensive player of the Month for September. Everyone else who plays offense was more off than him. So there is that.

    Its clear he had what is known as a transferrable concussion. All the symptons were moved to Brady and McDermott, which explains there play calling on the Bills last two drives.

    It was obvious in real time, the tv cut to Allen out of the tent being handed his helmet, before the play was run.

    the correct call was "time out". Allen was out of the tent with his helmet in his hand before the play was run.

    I still don't understand why we did not call a time out to get allen back on the field instead of Trubisky.

    Define fine. If "Fine" means "on pace to win possibly the worst division in football, win a home wild card game, then proceed to lose a divisional round playoff game on the road" The Bills are fine.

    Incomplete passes happen a lot. Runs always keep the clock running. Don't overthink this. McDermott himself said it was a mistake. I simply said, coaches should not make the mistake he admitted to already.
