  1. In this hypothetical do we get to win the Super Bowl last year or do we pretend that did not happen?
  2. There are “bad games” and there are very bad games. In Jackson’s last four starts he has had two very bad games. The open question is are the two bad games an anomaly or they results of defenses “solving” for Jackson’s highly unusual skill set. To me the closest comparison to Jackson’s skills in QB history is Michael Vick. Vick had a pretty successful NFL career. I expect Jackson may have similar success. If you consider Vick to have been a great QB then you can certainly put Jackson in that level. If defenses have “solved” Jackson and he and Roman cannot counter the solution, then Jackson’s results will likely trend in an unfavorable direction. Time will tell.
  3. Shaw's title simply reflects the media hype around Lamar. In the MNF pre-games show they compared Mahomes- Jackson to Kelly-Marino and Brady-Manning. Mahomes actually qualifies for this. Including Jackson in anyway in this stratosphere at this point is laughable. Discussing Jacksons 2019 regular season as one of the great personnel regular seasons in NFL history is fair and fine.
  4. The elephant in the room is that Jackson would seem to have no game if his legs are even slightly dinged up. No variety.
  5. LJ is not King. Shaw did not miss. He was dead on.
  6. Josh Allen is as equally valuable as Russell Wilson is to his team. Or Patrick Mahones is the o his team. All three teams would be awful if you replaced them with say Kirk Cousins. In comparison you could probably put cousins on the Steelers or Browns and expect those teams to perform at the same win/ loss level.
  7. In tHe movie version of Seabiscuit movie goers were told the horse could not win from the front and that he had to give up the lead and win from behind at the end. Darth Bellichek is Secretariat, perfectly happy to get out in front and stomp the crap out of the field. My heart health requires more secretariat and less Seabiscuit from coach McDermott
  8. It has everything to do with the NFL allowing offensive holding for all teams not just the Patriots this year.
  9. Don't get to disturbed by the lack of reading comprehension by others.
  10. People will blme Josh for leving too much time on the clock.
  11. since the texans plyoff collpse
  12. Kyler Murray is overrated Deandre Hopkins is underrated
  13. Watson is over rated.
  14. Burrows? Hebert? do they factor in?
  15. Bills coaches seem to disagree with you. Neither last year or this year have the coaches used him extensively.
  16. He is a functional RB. Definitely NFL level. No team in the NFL needs to modify their defensive game plan to account for Singletary. Nor Moss. From a team perspective that is not necessarily a bad thing. NFL teams don't worry too much about the Patriots, Seahawks, Green Bay or Baltimore running backs. Teams that rely on their running attacks much more than the Bills are right now, generally have RBs that are teams need to specifically worry about. Singletary/Moss are very generic NFL RBs. Also it is far easier to have a high yard per carry on ten carries than it is on 20 or 25, generally speaking.
  17. The best thing about the Josh Allen bandwagon, is that it huge and can fit everyone who wants to get on board.
  18. I am surprised. But when I compare our RBs to the top 20 or so RBs in the league, I realized it is a huge weak spot on the team. So I am no longer suprised.
  19. The NFL should move all games to prime time, 7 days a week. If it is only on TV, why not.
  20. Since Allen's first pre-season game as a rookie, I have been banging the drums that he will be incredible.
  21. This will hurt forever. But Josh is helping ease the pain.
  22. Based on age, current ability level and potential improvement, the only QB in the league I might rather have as a Bill is Patrick Mahomes. Allen and Mahomes are far and away the two most exciting players in the league to watch. Both seem to have their heads screwed on straight as well. Jackson's numbers are irrefuatble, but for no particular reason I feel as though he has peaked and is as likely to decline as much as he is to improve.
