you seem to miss the point. Allen at 80% is also better than Keenum at 100%. Injury risk is a binary decision. He either is at higher risk, or he is not. If it is higher risk, you don't put him in to sub.

Thank you for this super helpful reply. -
Who has been the biggest disappointment?

Both losses this year can be fairly described as chokes. The 13 second debacle that ended last season is literally the NFL choke of all time. Its not just last week. -

Line has moved back to -6.5

I think Allen will play. There is a small chance Barkley was not elevated because they did not want to risk moving anyone from the active roster, and that we will be going with Keenum starting and McKenzie as the backup

NFL roster management is financial asset management. The question is how valuable is the roster compared to its cap cost. Everyone understands this when they discuss the advantage of having a high end QB on a rookie contract. Allen plays far above his cap cost. This is the main reason the Bills succeed. The Bills do not have many other players playing significantly above their cap cost (Elam, Benard, Rousseu come to mind as playing above their cost). Its not clear to me that the Bills have many other bargains on the roster. Positional decision making is part of the asset management. It should be noted that the Bills have more cap committed to the defense than any other NFL team. The defence should be expected to excel. (again Allen, allows the Bills to go cheap on the rest of offense)

In a fact based world, the bolded part above is simply wrong. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2015/2/20/8072877/what-the-statistics-tell-us-about-the-draft-by-round -
How much on Sunday will be an evaluation of Brandon Beane?
Chaos replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure what we need to evaluate. This Bills roster with an average NFL QB, is an average NFL team. We already know that. -
Who has been the biggest disappointment?

Disappointment requires expectations. The only person I expect to excel was Josh Allen. His recent blip is by far the most disappointing part of the season. Every other problem will be solved when Josh returns to form. -
The blueprint is in, Buffalo has been figured out
Chaos replied to DallasBillsFan1's topic in The Stadium Wall
We learned what we already knew. Josh is the entire Bills team, offense and defense. We have invested more salary cap and draft picks on defense than any other NFL team. And we have used that investment to build a defense that works great when Allen puts incredible pressure on the other team, giving them the impression we will score on every drive. This makes the other teams play one-dimensionally and makes it easy on the offense. Because of the investment on defense in the salary cap, we don't have the types of weapons on offense that KC or the Dophins have. If Allen falters, no one is on offense to pick up the slack. Because the defense can only be great when defending a big lead, if Allen falters, the defense cannot reliablly control the game. Today's game ending drive was just the long drawn out painful version of 13 seconds. -
This is certainly the longest and most in depth discussion of that skit in the world.

Is there any interest in betting on NCAA games among this group. Just looking for some Saturday entertainment. Any recommnedations?

When I read the thread title, I thought it meant Josh was going to play both ways this week.

It’s was Brown Indians. Your comment is dumber than most comments.
-
Please tell me you understand the Brown ins Brown Indians refers to the color which represents Franciscans and not skin color. Or do you think that that Scarlet Knights is a slur against scarlet colored people?

Is anyone really a drop off from Tannehill?

Seahawks are not good. Giants will win.

First, Josh Allen is a better QB than Patrick Mahomes. Josh is great at spreading the ball around during the course of the game. However, Mahomes is without peer in spreading the ball around during a single play. I do not think adding Toney to the Bills roster changes the Bills dynamic, nearly as much as it changes the Chiefs dynamic. Josh needs Toney less than Mahomes does. And Mahomes can probably do more with that type of player than Allen.
