NFL game day consensus among Kurt Warner, Gerald McCoy and Steve Mariucci, is that despite having an alien QB who is clearly the NFL's MVP, there is just something about the Bills keeping them from being more than a very good team, and its not likely they will represent the Bills in the Super Bowl this year. hope they are wrong.

I have been advocating this for years. (and mocked and derided on this board for bringing it up). The number of end of game situations is actually finite. Pay some MIT math genius to put together the database of situations and just have him standing near the coach the last 4 minutes of the first half, and the last 8 minutes of the fourth quarter. No one should be calculating these situations on the fly under pressure. During the game, we learned that Tom Brady knew the situation exactly as the situation arose. If you had asked him before the game. "traling by nine, three timeouts, 1:20 remaining, pass or run". He would have instantly said pass only.

I think load management is going to prove to be a thing for the regime. I don't think I agree, but there is a reasonable hypothesis that a healthy roster supercedes seeding position in likelyhood of winning the super bowl.

The lack of a hall of fame roster, does not have anything to do with bone headed late game coaching decisions. Hope that clears up the concerns people have.

It will be interesting to hear how taking the penatlty instead of forcing fourth and 7 with 4:30 on the clock, and calling a running play on the final series were not coaching blunders but problems "with execution".
