Don't confuse Joe with facts. -
Personally I think Mayfield sucks, and changing from OBJ and Landry, with Chubb at RB to Beasley, Brown, great for eight carries Singletary at RB, mayfield would suck worse. . Darnold would not have more wins, because he would have had mono. Darnold is the 2018 QB with the turnover problem, so he would have fewer wins. Hard to say with Jackson. I Buffalo he probably would be sitting the bench behind some peterman clone because Daboll would have no idea what to do with him. But if the entire ravens offense and coaching staff came over, we would definitely score more points and win more games.

Don't confuse the other posters narrative with your silly facts. Narrative trumps facts. We all have to just accept that. -
I hope you are wrong. Because in the modern NFL that is insane. The Patriots are the exception that proves the rule. With the salary cap structure teams need to pick their spots and take the opportunities each season. At the point the Bills realized they have a historically easy schedule this year, and have a damn near fully healthy team, they should be focusing on getting to the Super Bowl this year. The stars don't align every year.

I think you mean second and fourth Q. Hard to extend drives from the second to third Q. -
If I was able to start a thread I would title it "McDermott, is doing a great job, but he is killing me" Evaluating this coaching staff is pretty challenging. The Bills are 10-5 and have been competitive in 14/15 games. The all time greatest coach in the NFL's team is 12-3 and has also been competitive in 14 games. The only difference between the Bills and Patriots is the head to head games between the two teams. And both were competitive. All of that is a strong argument that the coaching staff is doing a great job. On the other hand, in the four competitive losses, all seemed like better game day coaching could have allowed the Bills to win those games. In the one blow out loss we looked terrible (so did the Pats against the Ravens"). It seemed like in many of the ten wins, we did not put the game away as easily as could have been done with better game day coaching decisions. This compares to elite teams like the Saints, Ravens or Patriots who seem to stomp most of their opponents when they do win.

Playing less than perfect is not "struggling". They have ways of measuring performance. Allens 103 Passer Rating yesterday plus 43 yards rushing is not struggling. So there is nothing to admit to, other than he was not perfect. Why can't you admit that a 103 passer rating, no turnovers, and 43 yards rushing out of your QB ought to be enough a solid performance and should not be looked at as the primary reason a team lost. Would another 150 yards passing along with 2 Ints make you happier. No QB in the league is regularly asked to be a bigger part of the offense than Josh Allen. He has a mediocre to poor line, and no skill players who would be #1 players at their position on the majority of NFL teams. People seem to constantly compare current bills players to past bills players. But the fact that John Brown is better than Kelvin Benjamin, does not not make him better than Michael Thomas. Devin Singletary is better than Frank Gore, and better than 2018 LeSean McCoy, but he is not a top NFL Running back. This lack of talent on offense allows teams to tee-off on Allen far more effectively than they can against most teams. -
The bigger question is will the offensive line learn how to run block for anyone for the playoffs?

If a zero turnovers a 103 QB rating and 2 td's is Josh's basement, I am all in. -
There is one primary reason we lost this game

Allen did not win the game singled highhandedly. This does not mean he lost the game. The team ran for 49 yards (without Allen) and the defense could not get off the field. Allen had no turnovers, 2 TDS and a 103 QB rating yesterday. He did his part. -
No facemask call on Josh's 4th down run.

From bit closer in. -
After the first series of the game, the Defense was not outstanding. They could not get off the field. Its tough for the offense to score points, when the other time is having multiple 8 and 9 minute drives. How many times did the Patriots punt yesterday? Twice. Defense could not even flip the field when the Pats started on the one. The inability to get off the field, and the offense running for 49 yards (other than Allen) were the primary problems yesterday. People seem to think if Josh Allen does not win the game singled handedly he, failed. Yesterday Allen had a 103 QB rating and no turnovers. He did his part.
