Let me phrase the question another way. Should factoring in personnel availability be a significant factor in scheme development? Why make it harder than it needs to be? Maybe there is a good reason, it is a real question.

Have you considered the Bills might want to start developing a defensive scheme that works with prototypical NFL linebackers, and does not rely a very rare combination of physical measurements. Most teams seem to be limited by "need" "positional value" and "best player available" while drafting. Bills seem to have all of that plus "must have physical traits to fit wierd and unusual scheme"

Oh. Since Elway has more super bowl wins as GM than all Bill's GM's combined, I thought he had an ok career. Partly because I keep reading that Bills fans are putting undreasonable expectations on Beane to win. (Also, the Bronco's post Elway don't look so great).

This is the whole point. Somewhere between 99.99% and 100% of the people posting on TBD are posting praise or criticisms from their own personal set of expectations. No one is ever persuading anybody with a different set of expectations on either what they have witnessed happening or expect to happen next. I ran the poll because I did not really know the split. And its pretty even, with nothing approaching a majority. So it is perfectly reasonable and should be expected for more people to disagree with whatever view you have on almost any Bills subject than to agree with you. The one thing everyone can control is to not act like their own personal expectations are the only set that is reasonable.

TBD Nation is divided. No matter what you post concerning the team, there is a pretty good chance 2/3's of the people will disagree with you.
