  1. Allen is far more talented than Newton. By the end of their careers it will look foolish to suggest Newton was close to Allen.
  2. Who is the Raven's back up QB? If Jackson gets hurt, does the entire Raven's offense collapse?
  3. Patriots definitely put their best players out there on special teams. Surprised to see Sanu out returning punts.
  4. How does one get authorized as a TBD discussion ender?
  5. Will Allen get as much time as Garrapolo against the Ravens?
  6. Should Mike Tomlin wear a shirt that says "Myles Garrett reacted like a violent thug". He would not be wrong.
  7. Followed his career since his high school basketball days. Always thought he might have been better pursuing that in college. Incredible athlete.
  8. Lets be one of the 6 teams who gets a bye or wins a playoff game. We are two games behind a team with zero starting line men from the beginning of the year, 1 WRs from the beginning of the year and a 42 year old QB. Lets just win a playoff game before we start handing out prizes.
  9. As I recall, there were 52 other players on the Roster. Elway does not seem interested in building 9-7 one and done teams. He is swinging for the fences. Maybe he is awful. But I think he knows what he is doing.
  10. Hopefully they have a long discussion about Daks turnover problems
  11. Can we all agree Danilo draws up the worst screen plays in the nfl
  12. The NFL has different levels of head coaching failure. Missing the playoffs almost every year is one kind of a failure. Making the playoffs every year and being one and done is another kind of failure (see Marvin Lewis) , however fans of the teams who miss the playoffs every year think Lewis is a success. Winning playoff games but never winning the big one is third kind of failure (see Mary Shottenheimer, Dan Quinn) . Fans of the first two types failures think these coaches are a success. The next type of failure is not winning enough super bowls recently (see Tom Landry, Mike McCarthy). Its a rare few coaches who aren't ultimately fired to end their head coaching career.
  13. Father of three, grandfather of nine. Great playing career, including playing on a rose bowl winning team. One of the people who helped bring the 3-4 defense to the NFL. All in all a nice life with meaningful accomplishments. Rest in peace.
  14. Alternatively, Jackson has a run like Brady, Manning or Rothlisberger did with multiple super bowl wins and perennial appearances in playoffs.
