  1. Eventually we will get to the positions that we have lower need at, and likely see that the possible selections for those positions can be justified with our picks, because, well, Bills.
  2. Interesting observation at this point of the voting. #2 first round priority is Guard. But most people (small sample size so far) think there is no guard worth picking in the first round https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/246549-building-an-entire-draft-boardoffensive-guard-rankings/
  3. Key players are a year older, and coming off of major injuries, Miller, Hyde . And Tre White did not perform at expected levels. Due to these 3 players, the roster is no where near as solid as the roster before the 2022 season started.
  4. Sherfield, at some price, seems fine. He is an NFL player. But it seems like him and Harty are both kind of odd ball players that don't really fit the prototype WR. In real life, do Dorsey and McDermott and Beane sit down together and discuss how they will be specifically used in the offense. Last years mid-season acquisition of HInes almost seemed like a surprise to the coaching staff. Or it is a surprise? Does Beane have a vision, and get the gets and the coaches are expected to make it work?
  5. What are people missing?
  6. He will almost certainly be there at 59. But he probably should ot be the choice there.
  7. I would trade Sherfield and Harty straight up for Jeudy.
  8. With the signing of Sherfield and Harty, is there any real possibility the Bills will use a first or second round pick on a WR? If so, who is the odd man out on the roster?
  9. How is that a problem with the board. That is a problem in real life. Maybe the Wizard will find a way to trade down. But if he can't it is likely either 27, or as you said, you don't get one of the three best.
  10. I don't imagine Sanders will be there at 59, but he would be a great addition if he is.
  11. What is the impact on the Bills getting a comp pick next year?
  12. Based on NFL.com grades, NFL.com estimates 17 Linebackers will be selected in the draft. 5 of these players have grades suggesting they could be selected in the first four rounds. Based on PFF grades, PFF estimates 16 Linebacker will be selected in the draft. 9 of these players have rankings suggesting they could be selected in the first four rounds. The are ranked by NFL.com grade, and the ranking within PFF for LBs is shown in the right hand column. NOTE : NONE is a choice in this poll.
  13. Will be treating centers in a separate thread
  14. Based on NFL.com grades, NFL.com estimates 15 Guards will be selected in the draft. 5 of these players have grades suggesting they could be selected in the first four rounds. Based on PFF grades, PFF estimates 12 Guards will be selected in the draft. 2 of these players have rankings suggesting they could be selected in the first four rounds. The are ranked by NFL.com grade, and the ranking within PFF for WR's is shown in the right hand column. This seems like a straightforward decision. If Avila or Torrence are available at 59, you take them, otherwise no guards in the first three rounds (McGovern signing makes sense) NOTE : NONE is a choice in this poll.
  15. yes
  16. We do have an every down runner, Josh Allen.
  17. I Harty as my number 1, but Sherfield was pretty close.
  18. Needed to sell some future, but this is the best I have been able to do, to hit the crowd favorites on needs and personnel.
  19. He is a Center, not a tackle. He will be included on a similar poll for Centers.
  20. For example if you would be happy to Draft Dawand Jones in the second or third, you would select him for rounds 2 and 3, but not for round 1. If you like Paris Johnson in any round, you would select him for rounds 1,2 & 3. If you like Blake Freeland for round 3, but would not use a second round or first round pick on him, you would select him only in round 3.
  21. Apologies for bumping. Hoping to get a few more voters.
  22. Even then, they need to be ready to coach. McDermotts decision to punt near the end of the first quarter will stick with me as long as "wide right". He wasn't up to the task of properly coaching the team that day. Even if somehow the game plan made sense.
  23. I don't know anything about Reed. Here is the NFL.com writeup about him, for others that may not be familiar https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jayden-reed/32005245-4526-3142-e96f-a871c08a1138
  24. silly take You left part out. The coaches also have to have themselves prepared. It seemed McDermott was just ready to be done for the season. He also seems to have occassionaly games where he makes decisions at the end of the game, that are more about "lets get this overwith one way or another, rather than the optimal plays for the situtation". The Tennessee game in 2021 sticks in my mind as one of these.
