  1. Here are the 18 guys I would draft to replace these free agents: (I traded down several times) 3 CBs 2 Centers 2 Guards 1 Tackle 3 WRs 2 LBs 1 S 2 DL 2 RBs
  2. During the Patriots era of domination they had a core of about 6 high end players and 16 others that changed frequently. The Bills core I s Allen and Diggs and Knox on offense. Miller White and Milano on defense. Everyone else is either a JAG or a JAG with potential to be more. In the final analysis Miller and whites injuries could not be overcome in the playoffs. Knox and White are concerns going forward. Diggs is 30. Miller is 34 this March. All of sudden the Bills are starting to feel like a rebuild.
  3. Big strides make people look slower. I don’t know what round he goes in because RB is a low priority position in the NFL. Most project him as the ninth to tenth RB off the board. If he puts up that forty time at the combine he probably moves to fourth or fifth.
  4. There is a related problem. Having a defense that only works if you one particular guy running it, seems like strategy doomed to failure.
  5. Everyone I know would prefer the hall of famer who helped win four super bowls.
  6. Johnson has good vision and balance. He has the misfortune of being second string to the unquestionable best RB in the country. I made Mitchell Analogous to Bijan Robinson in my OP. Is that offensive to Mitchell?
  7. Lydell Mitchell and Franco Harris graduated together at Penn State. During their senior season, Mitchell had twice as many carries, almost 900 more yards than Harris, and finished fifth in the Heisman voting. Oddly, he lasted until pick 48 in the draft, while Harris was selected by the Steelers 13th overall as the start of his HOF career. Never understood what the Steelers saw there. But they were obviously right. Johnson is a huge back 6'2 225 with speed who the Bills should be looking at if he drops to third round. (I am not putting Johnson in Canton yet)
  8. I think they Bills need to borrow from the future. Trade the 24 first round pick (which God Willing is 29th to 32nd) for a second third and fourth (or something like that) they could probably make the playoffs doing that. but not much more.
  9. I am just guessing you never took a mathematics or philosophy course in Logic.
  10. Referees missing calls is referee involvement
  11. Whole thread on the subject https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/246114-suitable-edmunds-replacements-in-the-draft/
  12. Gabe Davis is a bit of an anomaly on the current Bills. His best play comes in the playoffs rather than the regular season. The reason I asking "Do the Bills Under Appreciate Gabe Davis?" is because Spotrac ranks him as having a higher market value than either Tremaine Edmunds, Ed Oliver or Jordan Poyer. Spotrac bases is ranking on actual production vs comps. No eye tests involved. Based on production, the comps Spotrac sees for Davis are Christian Kirk, Russell Gage, Michael Gallup, Hunter Renfrow. For all of the discussion around Tremaine Edmunds being virtually a child in years, Davis is actually a year younger, and only 23 now. He will be the same age as Edmunds when he becomes a free agent next year.
  13. Why not an option 1A where the Salary Cap saved by resigning Edmunds is used to improve the oline, and Edmunds is replaced in the draft?
  14. Your confusion is because you have a reading comprehension issue. I wrote 2024. The coming season is 2023.
  15. at all costs? Edmunds is seeking offers from other teams in free agency.
  16. If he had no contractual obligation to disclose allegations then there is nothing dishonest about not disclosing those allegations or lawsuits.
  17. To be clear. Sandusky is part of the PSU history. But otherwise, I think you have the University of Pennsvlvania and Penn State University confused.
  18. The Oline needs a complete redo. No one other than Dawkins should be on the roster in 2024, other than as a possible backup. If the team is committed to rebuilding the line, I think we need to borrow a first round pick from 2024, and combine it with pick 27 to move up in the draft. On the points chart (I know that is far from perfect), that could allow us to move up to 12 by trading with Houston. At 12, it is almost certain one of the top 3 Tackles in the draft, Paris Johnson Jr., Peter Skoronski, and Broderick Jones should be available. We likely would have our pick of them. My personal choice Skoronski. We our second pick might be able to add John Michael Schmitz. If not Joe Tippman from Wisconsin should be there. Tippman would be able to start at Guard as long as Morse is Healthy. There are several good guard options who should be available with our later picks to compete with Bates & Spencer Brown for the other guard spot. These include Andrew Vorhees from USC and an interesting UCLA player Atonio Mafi. Chandler Zavala from NCS and Jarrett Patterson from Norte Dame. Bang, bang, bang, new line is Dawkins, Tippman, Morse, Vorhees, Skoronski.
  19. Lots of immediate options being discussed in this thread: https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/246114-suitable-edmunds-replacements-in-the-draft/
