  1. I am giving up on Spencer Brown. He can fight for the starting role. At this point best case scenario is he stops being a turnstile just in time for his rookie contract to be up, and he can get crazy free agent money.
  2. He seems to have tumbled down post combine big boards. PFF dropped him from 52 to 68. Saw him at 76 somewhere else. Everyone seems to have Tippman and Wypler going before Schmitz now. If we are fantasizing I would rather get Avila and Dawand Jones and pass on Charbonnet.
  3. Unless Skoronski, Paris Johnson, or Broderick Jones falls to 27, the pick will likely be defense. I was pretty impressed with Dawand Jones at the combine. He is likely to be there at 27. Not sure the Bills will like him as much as I did and pull the trigger at 27 on Dawand Jones though.
  4. Pacheco did well. He ran for 872 yards. No one in the world would confuse his performance with Henrys though.
  5. Which teams have achieved that?
  6. Oliver's cap hit makes that unlikely. He is about zero net asset value. The only reason the Titans would make the trade, is to accomodate Henry, plus anything else we would give up to the titans to make it happen.
  7. Hopefully in the same way it hurt the Chiefs in 2022
  8. Has he achieved "at their talent level", or is this team not talented enough to make it further than the divisional round in the playoffs?
  9. Let me phrase the question another way. Should factoring in personnel availability be a significant factor in scheme development? Why make it harder than it needs to be? Maybe there is a good reason, it is a real question.
  10. Have you considered the Bills might want to start developing a defensive scheme that works with prototypical NFL linebackers, and does not rely a very rare combination of physical measurements. Most teams seem to be limited by "need" "positional value" and "best player available" while drafting. Bills seem to have all of that plus "must have physical traits to fit wierd and unusual scheme"
  11. We all know the buck stops at Special Teams coach in the closing seconds of a playoff game.
  12. Certainly seems to suggest that for 1 season he built the best team.
  13. Which part of what I said is not true?
  14. Oh. Since Elway has more super bowl wins as GM than all Bill's GM's combined, I thought he had an ok career. Partly because I keep reading that Bills fans are putting undreasonable expectations on Beane to win. (Also, the Bronco's post Elway don't look so great).
  15. Fair question. My intent was for each of the last four seasons, your expecation at the beginning of the season vs the result for the season. So four separate expecations.
  16. In an internet full of nonsense, your statement is able to standout as particularly nonsensical. Kudos.
  17. Cap problems don't decrease after this year. Total cap hit still matters. Campbell would be five years of a guy on a rookie contract.
  18. You don't understand the purpose, and I can't explain it differently than before. Don't take it personal.
  19. Mike Tomlin and John Harbaugh have had lengthy careers on the principle that one is enough.
  20. This is the whole point. Somewhere between 99.99% and 100% of the people posting on TBD are posting praise or criticisms from their own personal set of expectations. No one is ever persuading anybody with a different set of expectations on either what they have witnessed happening or expect to happen next. I ran the poll because I did not really know the split. And its pretty even, with nothing approaching a majority. So it is perfectly reasonable and should be expected for more people to disagree with whatever view you have on almost any Bills subject than to agree with you. The one thing everyone can control is to not act like their own personal expectations are the only set that is reasonable.
  21. TBD Nation is divided. No matter what you post concerning the team, there is a pretty good chance 2/3's of the people will disagree with you.
  22. LT - Dion Dawkins LG - Joe Tippman (second round pick Wisconsin) C - Ethan Pocic Free agent signing (Morse cut - close to a Salary cap wash) RG - Andrew Vorhees (Fourth RD Draft Pick) RT - Peter Skoronski (First RD pick, trade up)
  23. seems racist. like all bald white guys look alike. no real similarities.
