Josh's decision making is elite as well. He is the only QB held to the level of perfection The great decision makers Burrows and Mahomes, also had double digit interceptions last year (and their teams had to punt more often than the Bills). What Josh has not had is consistent protection. If the protection holds up as it did against the raiders, he will make great decisions. If it is like the Jets, his decision making won't seem as good.

It’s not clear he performed up to the level of draft picks plural used to acquire him in the draft. When a GM a makes a play to move up in the draft it is a pretty clear i indication he is getting the guy he wants, and I think fans hold those picks to a higher standard. But while he was here he played a pivotal role to get us to the divisional round of the playoffs

I know it is impossible to really believe what is reported in the press. But the common understanding of why he fell from projected early second rounder to fourth rounder seemed to be “attitude” issues. His pre-steelers game interview did not seem consistent with a guy with attitude issues. He seemed like a solid rookie in the game. Browns may have gotten nice pick in the fourth.

Waiting for mistakes definitely can help a team win 10-12 regular season games against inferior opponents. So far it has not proven to be a viable strategy for a deep playoff run.
