  1. Every year we see trades where a team gives up something meaningful to move up just a couple of picks, so we all fantasize about getting who we like a little bit lower, plus something else. Separately your dozen picks theory matters by round a lot. Panthers just gave up a kings ransom to move 8 picks to 1. If they guy you like is available at pick 205, you don't make a move to go to 212, in hopes of also getting another player. I think the expected talented level at 27 is meaningful higher than the expected talent at 39. Of course different talent evaluaters may disagree by more than a dozen picks.
  2. Why do you think Jack Campbell can't be a solid starting MLB out of the box this season?
  3. Center is a position of need. Morse has probably been the best linemen for the entire Josh Allen era, but I think people tend to over rate him because they are comparing him to the low end talent we have rolled out on the rest of the line (Dawkins is better now). Center does not seem to be a position to burn 11 million of cap dollars on like the Bills are/have been doing. If a good center is available in the second or third round, it would be good to draft that person and hope they can play if Morse is injured this year, and take over the position with a rookie cap hit in 2024. Pre-2022 Season: Made Bruce Feldman's Freak's List - ranked #28. He wrote, "Tippmann is a terrific combination of strength (635-pound back squat and 455-pound bench) and athleticism, clocking a 4.31 pro agility time and a 1.65 10-yard split, which would’ve been faster than any O-lineman at the NFL combine this year." He may or may not be available at 59, but he would seem to be a good value there.
  4. Based on NFL.com grades, NFL.com estimates 9 Centers will be selected in the draft. 9 of these players have grades suggesting they could be selected in the first four rounds. Based on PFF grades, PFF estimates 9 Centers will be selected in the draft. 3 of these players have rankings suggesting they could be selected in the first four rounds. The are ranked by NFL.com grade, and the relative ranking within postion for PFF for Centers is shown in the right hand column. NOTE : NONE is a choice in this poll.
  5. Campbell had one of the best combines of any prospect in attendance. He put up elite explosive numbers — a 1.59-second 10-yard split, 37.5-inch vertical and 10-foot-8 broad — at a hefty 249 pounds. Not only that, but also he blew up the change-of-direction figures with a 6.74-second three-cone and 4.24-second shuttle. That's a well-rounded linebacker. 6. Your ruined it for all of us 😁
  7. Shamelessly posting to my own post in attempt to see if anyone else has an opinion on drafting LBs. Currently "none" is leading in the first round
  8. I did not mean to suggest Sanders is better than Campbell. I simply think the Bills management will see Sanders as a better fit for the McDefensive scheme. Just say no to Ricky Stromberg
  9. I think Drew Sanders is more likely to be selected by the bills than Campbell, if they take a linebacker at 27
  10. I cheated, but this my favorite draft so far (picked up Derrick Henry)
  11. OT is not viewed as a big need, but hoping to get some more votes to see who people like the best.
  12. Thank you. In the end, I am pretty sure we will have a plan to get Jalen Carter, JSN, and Peter Skoronski. Mr. Beane will just have to execute our plan.
  13. Part of me hates Hopkins (Hail Murrray syndrome), part of me thinks his best days are far behind him and he is a fraction of his peak talent, but mostly I think if he was in the Bills lineup that other teams need to account for him, and Gabe Davis becomes the top WR3 in the league in 2023.
  14. Based on NFL.com grades, NFL.com estimates 18 DT's will be selected in the draft. 10 of these players have grades suggesting they could be selected in the first four rounds. Based on PFF grades, PFF estimates 12 DT's will be selected in the draft. 13 of these players have rankings suggesting they could be selected in the first four rounds. DT's is shown in the right hand column.
  15. He is highly regarding as a technician, and he is easily the top athlete at center He made Feldmans freak list coming into the season at #28 and based on NFL Next Gen Stats, is the second best offensive lineman.
  16. Are the Bills only good on defense if we have a top 10 player in the NFL at every position?
  17. Deer in headlights sounds like a coaching failure to me.
  18. Every position on an NFL team is important. But other than Aaron Donald, is there a single DT in the NFL, that in the week leading up to playing that team fans (or coaches) are discussing "how are we going to handle that guy"?
  19. I like Tippman. I would actually hope he could replace Morse this year.
  20. Ryan Fitzpatrick was a rookie for 8 seasons. Brown is just getting started.
  21. Trade with the Bears. They have 3 picks in the sweet spot for value in the draft. 53,61,64
