He is the only QB held to the level of perfection The great decision makers Burrows and Mahomes, also had double digit interceptions last year (and their teams had to punt more often than the Bills). What Josh has not had is consistent protection. If the protection holds up as it did against the raiders, he will make great decisions. If it is like the Jets, his decision making won't seem as good.

It’s not clear he performed up to the level of draft picks plural used to acquire him in the draft. When a GM a makes a play to move up in the draft it is a pretty clear i indication he is getting the guy he wants, and I think fans hold those picks to a higher standard. But the common understanding of why he fell from projected early second rounder to fourth rounder seemed to be “attitude” issues. His pre-steelers game interview did not seem consistent with a guy with attitude issues. He seemed like a solid rookie in the game. Browns may have gotten nice pick in the fourth.

Waiting for mistakes definitely can help a team win 10-12 regular season games against inferior opponents. So far it has not proven to be a viable strategy for a deep playoff run.

I was pretty high on Dawand Jones in the draft, and was stunned he dropped to the fourth round. Due to injury, Jones is being pressed into service against TJ Watt tonight. For those who are skilled at evalutating lineman, please provide feedback on how well you think Jones does tonight.

He's played great so far. Its a shame he is so old (24).

Are we really pretending it’s only Josh. No dependency of coaching play calling or the opposing defense. here is the answer to question. Keep the defense off of Josh for the 2 seconds he need’s to process. The elite Josh always shows up in a that situation.

My bigger point is that the collective effort of the team against the jets including Allen’s 70 percent completion rate and 3 bad turnovers, and 1 inconsequential turnover and game tying drive resulted in a tie at the end of regulation. Allen neither won or lost the game at that point. It was a tie. This cannot be disputed. To blame the overtime loss on Josh rather than the team is silly.

The bengals fans seem to be upset that burrows is not being rested until recovered. With a big emphasis on the Jamar Chase warning that Burrows was not ready just before the season started.
