4.55 to 4.45 is a pretty huge difference. That would be a different category of talent to project. I have a theory that is he is a victim of over training. And that if the Bills conditioners can "loosen him up" a bit, the agility may be improvabile.
Only onside kicks actually create an exta possession. Otherwise possessions simply alternate. Each drive has four ways to end, a score, turnovers, turnvover on downs, or a punt.
I think you under consider how bad Zack Wilson was. The gap last season from Allen to Rodgers is about the same size as the gap last season from Rodgers to Wilson. Unless Rodgers does a Russell Wilson imitation, it is a huge upgrade.
I am hoping some of the people who think the Aaron Rodgers led Jets are not "far better" than the Zach Wilson led Jets can provide some color on their thinking.
Both are good, and they will be comped against each other in the future. I think Kindcaid's more WR similarities makes him a better fit for the Bills than Mayer though.
Good question Another one is, "did the defense focus on shutting him down and take him away, allowing the Utah team to compete and almost beat a gold standard SEC team?"
A lot of people view Gibbs as more than an RB. Niners are no longer criticized for trading for McCafferty. I suspect the lions are hoping for something along those lines.
I think you need to actually watch the games to know why he was not being targeted. I actually am typically interested in who teams turn too when they are losing in the second half. If a team is winning and running the ball, no particular reason to be passing to anyone.
Interesting one. If he had been a 4th round draft pick, his NFL statistics would look very good. But he has a tremendously long career and is 10th in points for a career. So I think he qualifies as going on to success. And he was definitely considered a reach.
It fits the general concept of going against the grain, and making a bold decision. Taking a guy at 1 instead of 5 is probably equalivalent to taking a guy at 25 instead of 100.
At the conclusion of the pre-draft process, Irvin was projected to be a second or third round pick by NFL draft experts and scouts. While he showed superior speed and athleticism, many analysts and draft experts had him a second round draft prospect due to his numerous off the field issues he had throughout his youth and time at West Virginia. He was ranked the fifth best outside linebacker in the draft by NFLDraftScout.com.
