  1. generally the highlight of the week for that week.
  2. what is meant by Aaron Rodgers theories? Seems like his theories have let him to first year eligible HOF enshrinement.
  3. Josh's backyard football is plenty enough to get us to the 20. Even in the playoffs. Inside the 20, some combination of better RBs, better play calling, more time for the QB, and receivers more receivers getting open is needed. Imagine the Eagles without the Rugby scrum last year, or the Chiefs without Reid scheming Kelce open every time the Chiefs get to the opponents 15 yard line. The Bills in the McDermott era have had no red zone persona, except when they were comfortable letting Josh run QB sweeps a few years back". Otherwise, nothing to distinguish them. Hence ranking 14th in RZ offense last year, despite having one of the best QBs in the NFL both passing and rushing.
  4. Bills were by far the best team in the regular season from outside the redzone. Literally the best team in the NFL at moving the chains. There is no real upside here. The real question is can Kincaid/Harty make us more effective in the redzone. If they can't, then the offense will still be excellent, but it won't be better than 2022.
  5. If Josh Allen is healthy for the entire season, the Bills are a mortal lock to make the playoffs. Then we will get to see much better the 2023 team was than the 2022 and 2021 teams.
  6. Mahomes Allen Burrows Rodgers Hebert Jackson Lawrence Hurts Stafford Goff Remember, the Eagles only had to win the very weak NFC to get to the Super Bowl
  7. 100 difference is in the GM and Coaching. Eagles dominante the Bills in both of those categories. There are 10 different QBs in the league, who would have taken the Eagles as far as Hurts did, Allen would have won it all.
  8. Compare this to the last couple of Super Bowl winners.
  9. That is less apparent to others than you. And developing young talent needs to be factored into play time too.
  10. Edmunds being gone, will be blamed for every defensive failing. While he was here, his detractors were told "you can't see his contributions on the field, because his role is so sophisticated, you can barely see him." Now that he is gone, every missed tackle and every defensive TD will be blamed on the absence of the stealth linebacker. The new DC will likely mention this often.
  11. Going into last season, everyone expected White to return to prior form by end of year. Miller, Hyde, and Poyer were all healthy and not viewed as more of of a health risk than anyone else. 4/11 defensive starters are questionable to be able to play full time for the season, or to play back to prior form. This is far worse than going into last season. It is the big question facing the Bills.
  12. Wow the post right above yours points out two examples. There are many more.
  13. It’s quite a statement about the rest of the team and the coaching, if considered a complete washout if Josh is not available to carry the team.
  14. It is sort of related to the "not a good practice player". A lot of great players are great because of instincts. Good coaches recognize when the players make instinctive good decisions. Mediocre coaches don't recoginize when this happens.
  15. Factually they made the final 8 the last two seasons. You can pretend that somehow the Bills losing in the divisional round, makes them a better team than the other three divisional round losers.
  16. Top 8. 8 teams make the divisional round. If you lose in the divisional round, you tie for 8th.
  17. one guys takeaway on McDermotts comments regarding Spector
  18. In real life its likley impossible to PROVE the parents knew that. But more importantly, that has nothing to do with her lying. Unless the parents conspired with her to lie, she is on her own.
  19. He took plenty of hits to make plays. One of the toughest guys to play the position, notwithstanding his pretty boy looks.
  20. It would be interesting if someone was able to correlate competent oline play to QB longevity. I think its accurate to say Tom Brady had the longest stretch of excellent oline play during the longest QB career ever. Probably not a coincidence.
  21. So as far as we know, being a running QB may not have any meaningful statistical impact on career length.
