  1. At this point in my life, things like this are the biggest reason why devastating playoff losses really bum me out and leave me in a rough headspace for a few days. So many fans who have been waiting decades just to get one championship who won't be around when it does finally happen. Very much hope the NFC wins it all this year, particularly the Lions. If not them, it's been thirty years since the 49ers won it, so even that would give some solace to a good chunk of the fanbase who wasn't around in the mid 90s.
  2. Nah, barring him getting injured again I think he’s gonna be a force. Sucks he didn’t recover sooner but I’m expecting a big year out of him.
  3. God these videos and this thread depressed me. Genuinely makes it seem like our offense is running at like 65% of what it could be.
  4. I agree. I'm not opposed to trading him, although most everyone says it's impossible due to his cap impact. Not sure if there's any way to work around that, but I do believe he's replaceable for the right price.
  5. It really did seem like he was injured, but we haven't heard anything about that being the case yet. Extremely concerning if he in fact was healthy.
  6. On the flip side, he definitely knows what it's like to have elite talent at the WR position. Gabe is going to be gone, so they're going to have to do something.
  7. That's really awful. It bums me out so bad that the new stadium won't be ready until 2026.
  8. Ugh I hate that this is even a possibility. We should've let the governor postpone the game until Tuesday. Then we might've gotten one or two guys back. (Kidding, sort of)
  9. A lot of people say that 13 seconds is the best game ever, period. I'm inclined to believe them even though the outcome was devastating. Watching that game didn't even seem real. Anyways, 56+ million for a divisional game is absolutely nuts. So now it's in the league's best interest they tell the referees to give us favorable calls to get us back to at least that point.
  10. Would be thrilled with even just one of the two hanging it up. It goes without saying we win this game if it’s anyone other than Kelce in the TE role.
  11. I wonder how many of us actually "made" the decision to become a Bills fan. I can't really imagine having the same kind of affection and connection for a team if I hadn't been born into being a fan and hadn't grown up surrounded by friends and family who were fans as well. At the end of the day yeah it's just a game, but the human and cultural connection that I personally have with it is much more important than simply making an arbitrary decision to root for some other, likely successful team. And it sounds kind of lame, but with Buffalo sports and all the insane scenarios they've dealt with over the years, I feel like there have been a lot of teachable moments for younger people, and a lot of wisdom to take away from how adversity is dealt with. I mean, just this year, we had Coach McDermott teach us all about the power of a group of underdogs working together against seemingly insurmountable odds to make their lifelong hopes and dreams come true.
  12. It hurts, honestly. It's a very defeating feeling to feel like regardless of how impressive Josh and the rest of the team can be and how high our hopes are going to get, it's just not going to be enough. Maybe I'm not absolutely, entirely hopeless, but it really sucks feeling like the coaching all around is more of a detriment than an asset. That shouldn't be the case, ever.
  13. If KC wins it all, does Kelce retire? Does he retire anyways alongside his brother?
  14. It's such a disgusting advantage.
  15. I don't totally remember, but did they ever give Rivers the weapons he needed to get over the hump?
  16. We need a good kicker and to be kicking in a stadium that isn't horribly engineered for the elements.
  17. It is going to be so painful when this happens next weekend.
  18. Same. Really thought we were going to find a way to pull it off at the end and get past the Chiefs finally. Really sad that so many players just couldn’t execute tonight.
  19. Not in our windy ass stadium it isn’t.
  20. Not sure I would day the defense got the stops needed to win the game.
  21. He played hard. Incredible awareness for a rookie.
  22. No guarantee Diggs would have caught it. Wouldn’t doubt it if Josh had that thought in the back of his mind. Diggs had one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen out of him.
  23. It felt like some Hallmark movie thing. Just completely nonsensical. Hard to imagine what a bonehead play like that does for morale and confidence.
