Doesn’t this have major implications on who wins the AFC North, which in turns has major implications on everything else? I really don’t see how they don’t play this somehow.

But it’s wrong on many, many levels for the Bills to be punished because it happened to their player, and it’s just as wrong for the guilt trip decision to be offered to Buffalo of “Do you want to forfeit?” For whatever integrity this league and this game still might have, they have to figure out the logistics of this somehow. What they do in response to this will genuinely impact the future of the league.

Yeah, the timing and circumstance of this is as complicated as it can be. This isn't a Week 4 game between mediocre teams. Again, all that matters is Hamlin's health and I pray he's okay, but this was a game with multibillion dollar implications. I'm gutted for Hamlin, his family, and the entire Bills community. Seeing those guys show emotion like they did really, really hit me. Diggs openly weeping. Allen with his hands to his face. Guys on their knees just praying and praying and praying. Just an unforgettable experience. I'm gonna be up all night praying for some good news.

Hamlin’s health is all that matters but for the Bills to be punished because of what happened tonight is unfair and unacceptable.
