With the 25th Pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select...
Billl replied to Mark Vader's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane hasn't focused on speed guys on offense for whatever reason. Diggs is plenty fast, but Beasley, Sanders, Davis, Singletary, and Moss are all relatively slow. They’ve all been productive players, but it makes me wonder if Beane prefers getting players at a discount because they don’t have the measurables. McKenzie is the only guy who is a real threat to make defenders look silly, and his story in Buffalo may have already been written. -

IIRC it was a 7 yard run by DS, a 1 yard run by DS, and a 1 yard run by McKenzie. -
The salary cap is a myth for good GMs.

Guessing he meant Hill giving the peace sign.

How did they not “unleash Allen” until the third quarter? First drive: 8 passes, 3 runs by Allen, 4 runs by other players. The first 8 plays were either passes or Allen runs Second drive: 6 passes, 1 Allen run, 1 run by another player Third drive: 3 runs by Singletary and McKenzie Fourth drive: 3 passes, 2 runs by Allen That’s the entire first half. 17 passes, 6 runs by Allen, 8 runs by other players. It’s hard to use a QB more than that, and Josh took a beating (while dishing out an even bigger beating).

When Buffalo scored with 13 seconds and I thought the game was over, I wasn’t even that upset. It was the first time I’ve ever felt genuinely happy for the other team and their fans, and I was prepared to pull for Buffalo the rest of the way. Obviously I’m glad it didn’t end there, but I will be happy for Buffalo when you inevitability win a Lombardi.

It was all lined up for a SB victory, then poof, gone

It’s because you’re good. It’s no different here people talk about the Chiefs. Nobody makes f*** you threads about the Dolphins. -

I get it, but Allen is 25 years old. He’s a force of nature, and he’s going to get his. If you can stomach it, there’s a thread on the Chiefs board titled f*** Josh Allen that actually gives some perspective on just how good KC fans think he is. This is the new Brady/Manning. I just hope they can both stay health for another 20 years or so. https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=342062 -

Bills fans should be pulling for Mahomes from here on out. These two are in the early stages of an epic rivalry, and the more combined success they have the greater their legacies will be. Both are going to win rings. The only question is how many. -
Best game I’ve ever seen. Been on the wrong end of this many times. Allen is unreal, and both teams and fan bases deserved to win. We will do this again almost every year.

Incredible game guys. That was awesome. -
OT Whose your biggest disappointment in the NFL this year?
Billl replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Arizona looked like a buzz saw early in the year, absolutely unbeatable. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a team crater to that degree. -

Denver is amazing. Beautiful scenery, tons to do, and it has the most sunny days of any city in the country.

That was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read. A 70 year old Pete Carrol is more valuable than Wilson? You couldn’t get a 7th round pick for Pete (coaches have been traded for, BTW). Wilson would bring 2+ first round picks. Don’t know why people find it so hard to grasp that Russ is struggling because he shredded his hand. He didn’t suddenly forget how to play football right after he returned. If they can’t coexist, you boot the old man and keep the best player in franchise history who still has 5+ prime seasons left.

He ruptured a tendon, had two fractures and a dislocation on his throwing hand like 90 days ago. It’s malpractice that they rushed him back. Assuming he makes a full recovery, he’s an elite QB. Hopefully he’s not causing permanent damage by playing in meaningless games.
-
Two firsts and Fields would also be interesting.
-
Two firsts plus Zach Wilson would be interesting.

Yeah, Seattle has mountains and incredible oceanfront real estate but I’m sure black celebrities would prefer to live in a rust belt city on a bunch dirty of rivers with a median income of $27k because people in Seattle were pissed about police violence against black people.

In what universe is Pittsburgh nicer than Seattle?

The Bills highs are as good as anyone’s. The hard part is going four straight without laying an egg. -

There’s not an knowledgeable person on earth who would choose to play Buffalo over Miami, though. -
Seems like Winston taught him everything he knows.
