You can't hold QB's like Watson down forever. Another reason why when you have the opportunity to step on a teams throat, you gotta go for it. All it takes is one play...fooled in coverage, missed tackle, penalty, etc. Watson eventually broke through and made plays. Less than 20 points isn't gonna cut it against a playmaker like Watson...it's just not.

Makes me wonder exactly what coach is made of if he resorts to this type of response TBH.

Sometimes you need go through these things before you can handle it the way you need to. I'm optimistic that Allen will use this and will exhibit better awareness next season

This really is some chickenshit from a coach that plays that way all too often. Coach should call out himself and the team as a whole...they surely made mistakes also. Very disappointing comments from the head coach...

This is all you need to see. Dont give me the common sense prevails thing. Rules are rules for a reason and the returner didn't follow them. Mistakes are why games are lost, and that was a huge mistake by an idiot that didn't know the rules or just decided not to abide by them. Either way it should've been enforced. To change this is the refs not following the rules, so now when Ford gets called for a BS blindside block that really wasn't, that should now be looked at as something they maybe shouldn't have called...see how that works. But it didn't, and there will be no repercussions for the refs that clearly botched following the rules which is their job.

But yet a blindside block that wasn't really a blindside block is ok in overtime when it completely changes the complexion and possibly the outcome of the game?

I put it on the Head coach. Game was there to be put away by halftime but his conservativeness left ot open like many times this season. This absolutely has to change

Exactly! If you wanna change the rule that the Titans clearly broke by not kneeling or signaling fair catch by using common sense, then they need to realize that that call against Ford at that junction of the game should not be called. But of course only the Texans get that benefit, along with numerous other calls. It's not surprising, but always stings a bit when you have to tolerate this crap year after year.
